This dress is so warm and cozy! I love the balloon sleeves and the fanciful layers. It is very very warm and fits true to size. My only complaint is that all of the tulle layers create a little bit of a bump below the tie.

Loved this dress! The quality was very nice and durable. Got many compliments on Christmas for our matching dresses. The green is beautiful and we loved the attached tool skirt! This dress is THE dress. My favorite formal dress that I’ve ever owned. The fit, quality, color, material, feel….are all perfect. I think it’s very TTS and I sized up but could’ve stuck with my true size. Depending on how you want it to fit, even if you size up, it doesn’t look baggy and you can’t tell because the sweater material up top has a bit more room and doesn’t stretch as much and the waist has a bit more room. Whenever I wear this dress I get a ton of compliments. I wore it for our Christmas photos this year and I’m so glad I did. It’s so classy and timeless. I hope they make more colors! I think a light pink would be cute

I bought this dress to wear to church on Christmas morning and it was just perfect! I was comfortable and warm and I would definitely buy again! It can be used for so many different occasions and it is just beautiful!

Wore this to the Nutcracker and felt like a princess! I'm 5'6" / 135 lbs and the small fit perfectly. The thinnest part of my waist hit a bit higher than the waist of this dress, so the tie kept riding up a bit--little loops on the to keep it in place would have been nice. But overall, a winner and very warm for a winter dress. I love it!

Beautiful dress!! I got a small and it is a bit big around the waist and could have sized down since the top material is stretchy. I weightlift so my shoulders are a bit more broad so I tend to be hesitant to go down to an XS because of that but totally could have done that! The tie helped to cinch the waist a bit so it ended up fitting fine. The fullness of the bottom half is quite fun and festive!

This dress runs very tts. I know some say they sized down but I would not recommend that personally. I absolutely love this dress! So beautiful and comfortable! I plan to wear it for Christmas Sunday ❤️

This dress is a STUNNER. It may actually be my dream dress. I love green, it's my favorite color ever, this dress is a gorgeous, rich forest green. I LOVE balloon sleeves and these sleeves take the cake. They flow beautifully and I love how they gather at the end with the end of the sleeve being tight fitting. The tulle is so lovely and when you spin in this dress, you feel like a beautiful fairy as your dress flares out, even my husband was impressed haha. I love the length, it fits like a true midi on me, reaching about mid-calf. The top is stretchy and it is made of polyester and spandex, I do wish they would put that in the fabric info that it also contains spandex. The waist is very forgiving and it comes with an optional tie, I like that it doesn't have belt loops. The side has a little zipper to help when you pull the dress over your head for extra room, but it does catch a little bit, it's one of those tiny zippers that comes on every nice dress I've ever worn because they hide easily and aren't bulky. I am wearing a medium and I am 5'5", 36DD, 165 pounds (I had a baby and am still 20 pounds more than I was pre-baby and definitely have more of a tummy than I used to) this dress is so flattering and makes me feel so lovely and confident. I'm not really into red much but I am seriously considering getting the short, red Cosette dress just because I love this style so much. I really hope they bring it back in another color!! I feel like this dress would be stunning as a deep, dark red with a hint of purple. I can't get over how much I love it. Thanks for making this beautiful dress Ivy City!!

I love my Cosette!! I was able to size down because it's stretchy at the waist and the knit material is very forgiving. I absolutely love the cuff bringing in the rest of the balloon sleeve and the tulle is so dreamy. Such a comfy, classy dress!

I’m in love with the Cosette! It was my first and favorite dress of the holiday collection and I can’t wait to get it in short and red The tulle/sweater combo is my absolute favorite…warm and cozy, but also stylish and chic. The sweater top is a bit stretchy, I do think I could’ve went down a size, but my true size isn’t noticeably large. I wish they made it also in black so I could have it in a universal color to wear all winter long! My favorite winter Ivy City Co dress!

It is so comfortable! And it lay’s beautifully. I have a smaller waist compared to my hips. But I went with my true to size (closest measurement) and it fit with enough room for some bloating. It works with or without pantyhose. Perfect for Christmas or fall/spring events.

I really love this dress with the exception of 2 things. I ordered based on the size chart my TTS and it is big. I could have sized down. And 2, the waist is at an incredibly weird spot. The design would be much more flattering if the waist was lower. I felt that it made me look very wide. If this dress comes back, it would be great to tweak the design just a bit and bring the waist down.

The bottom fabric still has wrinkles which is unfortunate. The dress has some weight and is comfortable. It’s not quite as flattering when it lays naturally even with the amount of fabric at the skirt.

This dress is stunning! The length is perfect for my taste and I love the sleeves. It's also super comfortable. My one nit-pick is I wish the bodice was longer. I'm 5'9" with a long torso, and this hit a few inches above my natural waistline. It would be more flattering if it was 2 inches longer and really showed off the smallest part of my waist. I've encountered this before with Ivy City dresses, wish there was a 'Tall' option.

It's kind of a weird length for me as a short girl but it still works, I can wear with boots or heels or flats and it will look great. I am ~160lbs./5'3"/36DDD and wearing medium. I got my daughter the Holiday Madeline and knew this would be the perfect color to coordinate with! Love love love, I want this in more colors!! Black, Maroon, rust... please!!!!

This dress is so comfy and I received plenty of compliments when I wore it to work. Can't wait to wear it for Christmas!

This dress is beautiful! The skirt portion is heavy so it definitely needs the belt to define the waist. Otherwise, the fabric gets pulled out and down from the weight of the skirt making you look boxy. The sleeves are also made for someone with normal length arms. If you have long arms, like me, they don’t reach down to the wrists. Instead, I pull them up to be 3/4 sleeves. All in all, a nice piece, just know what to expect.

This dress is beautiful, but not for women who are curvy on bottom.

I made the mistake of sizing down (since all the reviews said to) but it was super tight in the waist. It still zipped up, but it was uncomfortable. Other than the waistband, it’s really comfortable and the tulle skirt is so fun. I hope my tts fits better.

Sooo beautiful! I’ve waited almost a year for this dress to come back so I could get it for Christmas. I bought the mini for my daughter and then stalked the site for months so I could get it. It’s absolutely gorgeous! The top feels like a sweater. So comfy! The only thing I find really frustrating about Ivy City is how variable their sizing is, and how high their waistlines fall. I am always unsure what to order. I scoured reviews and ordered an XS, which mostly fits me really well, except that the waist is not stretchy and hits the bottom of my ribs, not my waist and is snug. I am hesitant to order a size S (my true size), because the rest of the dress fits really well. I also ordered with rewards, and it gets tricky trying to see how 2 sizes fit, using the coupon, not wanting to have to pay extra for return shipping, being afraid your size will sell out, etc. All of that aside, all their dresses are gorgeous and I’ve never gotten so many compliments. Everyone asks where I bought my dresses any time I wear them. Really uniquely beautiful and most of them are modest too!

This is probably the warmest dress I have. If you live somewhere cold, it’s really a must! It’s also very comfy, so if in between sizes I would size down just one size since the waist doesn’t have much stretch. Love the color, very comfy, very worth it! Size: small Height: 5’4”

I so wanted to love this dress, but I realized it doesn't look flattering on me at all :( I feel it is too bulky and has too much fabric. It is so pretty but I guess it doesn't work well for plus size ladies like me. I guess it would be better if we could see the dresses on the website shown with plus size models too. I fell in love with the beautiful green color and how gorgeous it looked in the pictures near the christmas tree. I wore it for New Year's Eve and it was a great choice, though.

Original cosette had no stretch in the waist. This one I was able to just pull it over my head with out using the side zipper. I’m also in a size M which is my size down. Ahhhh love it so much. Definitely has a lot more room and it’s stretchy

A very beautiful dress but I was disappointed I am in between an XXS & XS in Ivy dresses, so I ordered a XS. The dress is an absolutely beautiful dress, very comfortable! However, I was not happy with how it looked in me. It was way to big to be an XS. The waist part was huge, although you couldn’t tell in pictures or probably not that much in person. I still felt not as pretty in it.

Darling holiday dress I missed out on the Cosette dress in cream and knew I had to grab this one because my baby girl's name is Cosette. The balloon sleeves are so dreamy and the tulle really adds to the drama of this dress! The green is also such a great shade that I actually feel the pictures did not do justice too. My only complaint is that the tulle creates a LOT of layers that end up sticking out and hanging awkwardly if I don't wear the waist tie to kind of pull them back in. It's much more comfortable to wear without the tie but I feel like I look pregnant without it. I think it's just the sheer amount of layers. Other than that, I really like this dress! Also be aware that this is quite a heavy dress because of all the material. The fabric is quite stretchy so I was able to size down to a small instead of my usual medium in non smocked dresses.

Pretty but big This was my Dream Christmas dress and it came in just in time for a wedding but honestly, it’s pretty big. I checked the measurements and everything, I am always a medium! But this sat so big in the waist. It looks fine with the tie but it bunches in the back quite a bit. Undecided whether I will keep or return because I love it but it’s not perfect.

This dress is timeless! This was my favorite from the holiday 2021 collection by far. I waited patiently for this lovely to be released and when it arrived, it did not disappoint. The quality and fit exceeded my expectations. My size at ICC is all over the place, and I have never ordered a dress of this style before (I've only gotten the Madeleine style) and I took a chance and got a size up than my normal. It actually fit perfectly and I will say that you can get away with a size up because the ribbed knit sweater material up top is stretchy and still sits nice on your bust, shoulders, and torso if you go up a size or stay your normal size. The hidden zip on the side and optional waistband are good too. The tulle is to die for: a gorgeous green and tons of layers to twirl! The color of the dress itself is a beautiful, rich, classy green. I look forward to wearing this dress on Christmas day for dinner with my family. ICC, I'm beyond impressed with this gem.

Love this dress!! I missed the first drop and snagged an extra small (a size down from my regular size) on the second drop. It fits perfectly! Definitely recommend sizing down one size. I was nervous because a size small in another style I’d gotten was too small, but this is perfect! The color, the silhouette, everything is gorgeous. And it will be so nice and warm for Christmas!

Love it! I’m a very short 5’2 and had to size all the way down to the xxs! I’m normally a small/XS. I love it! It’s a beautiful heavy but not too heavy dress! It’s gorgeous!

So soft and elegant I love this dress. I got an x-small for myself and I love the fit of it. I had my 13 year old try it on and she ended up wearing it to an event. It looked darling on her. So the sizing is absolutely able to work within a range. It’s also so pretty and really soft.

Chemical Smell This dress is absolutely gorgeous. I have not tried it on yet because it has the strongest chemical smell that makes it impossible to wear. I’m going to try to air it out and hope the smell goes away. I have never had this problem with an Ivy City Co dress before.

Surprised me! I was worried about this adding bulk but it’s shape is so perfect that it just looks like a beautiful silhouette. I love that the top sweater isn’t thick, it’s nice and sleek. Love the color! I got my TTS, could’ve sized down one, there’s extra room but the belt brings it in.
