    I was so excited to find this dress! I thought it was the perfect dress for my baby’s baptism! I am doing everything rose themed, and the lace looks like roses. However, it was on final sale, so I had to take a guess of what the best size would be. I ordered a large because I am a pear shaped woman with big hips and often run into the problem that dresses won’t fit my hip area. Unfortunately, I bet wrong. Listen to the feedback that this dress runs large. This might also be a good dress for girls with large busts, which is not me. Unfortunately, while the bottoms fits nicely around my hips, it is huge around my chest. I added a couple of pictures to try to show what possible alterations might look like. I would have to take the dress up in the shoulders by about 2 inches and I would have to take in the sides as well and the boning is likely flattering if you have a dress that actually fits you, but when it’s too large, it actually prevents the dress from being formfitting and makes it look awkward and creates an artificial waste below my belly button. Instead of the romantic, elegant look that I saw in the pictures, I look like a frumpy, stereotypical movie housewife that lives in the prairie with lose fitting clothes to ploug the field and do house work. The dress is beautiful and super soft material but it’s really big. I’m heart broken because once I saw this dress I knew I wanted it for my baby’s baptism but now I’m at square one.
