I didn’t have to do any alterations it fit snug in all the right places. I didn’t even have to wear a girdle, can I get an amen?! Haha! Always a Lani fan! Purchased the cream Lani for a beach photo shoot with my family and I think it will be perfect! I sized down to a medium as I mostly do with smocked and it's a perfect fit. I do feel the cream Lani smocking is alittle tighter than the black Lani smocking, however it could just be me! For reference: I am 5'7, 36D chest, and size 10/30 waist!

I personally wouldn’t order from Ivy City again. I wanted to like it so much but was underwhelmed when I finally got my order. I originally ordered a small (which was in stock online) and the day I got a shipping notification I tracked it and it said “cancelled”. I waited a day and still didn’t hear anything from Ivy City themselves. So I ended up emailing them and was told that “I’m sure this is disappointing but our stock was miscounted”. If I had gotten an email telling me that I wouldn’t have been annoyed but I didn’t. And I felt like the customer service I received was lacking. Then I ordered a different size and just wasn’t very pleased with the quality for the price. I’ve heard such good things about this company and the dresses but I wasn’t impressed.

Any colors that the Lani comes in I will for sure be getting! This is my favorite Ivy dress to wear any day of the week. It’s so comfortable, the fabric is breathable, and the silhouette is flattering on everyone! I wear a 2x tts but in this dress I prefer the 1x. If you like a fitted look, size down one.

The Lani dress is my favorite everyday dress! What I love about it: the fabric and feel of it, the length, the silhouette, it is nursing and maternity friendly, the smocking and length of it, and the colors. The only thing I will mention is that the elastic around the arm is a little tighter than some of the other Ivy City puff sleeve dresses. Love this dress!

I love my Lani dress!! The cream color is SO versatile and the smocking is the stretchiest so it's incredibly comfortable. I couldn't think of a better dress to name after the one and only Lani ;) the only problem I had was the stitching. Pretty crooked and wonky at the waistline, which makes it fall in a strange way. Still love it and kept it, but I wish there weren't any issues with that stitching. All in all I do love this dress!

I absolutely adore this dress! I am so in love with it! I almost didn't buy it thinking I was to pale and it would wash me out but it absolutely does not and it immediately became one of my favorite dresses, I wore it to church the same day it arrived. I bought my true size, size L, and it fits great, but even being very pear shaped I could easily size down one. The skirt has more room than the Madeline even and the smocking is a looser smocking like the Madeline. Absolutely adore!!!
