This dress is amazingly gorgeous in person. The ruffles are so romantic and the faded floral print so pretty. Very Bridgerton. The smocking goes all the way around the bust, so it’s very accommodating. I have a 58” bust and got a 4x, but I would have gotten a smaller size if my hips weren’t a problem. The lining of the dress is not as flowy as the outer shell. So I was shoved into it like a stuffed sausage. I wish all dress linings could be as big and flowing as the outer shell. So if your hips are not dramatically bigger than your bust (mine are huge at 78”) I would say size down at least once.
