I purchased this because it was in the “Nursing Friendly” section and it is NOT. There’s no stretch in the neckline to pull it down and no other access point. The shoulders have no stretch either. It’s impossible to nurse in unless you want to lift the entire dress up… which is not nursing friendly lol. It was upsetting as this was my Christmas dress and I realized when I put it on on Christmas morning that it was genuinely impossible to nurse in so I was unable to wear it and had to put another dress that wasn’t Christmas-y /: Partially my fault for not checking prior to Christmas and a first world problem but alas still upsetting.
The worst part in my opinion is that I let Ivy City Co know this and I’m grateful they’re letting me return it however I see it is STILL IN THE NURSING FRIENDLY SECTION days later. I’m disappointed they have left this dress in the nursing section to mislead customers. Just leaving this review so I can hopefully potentially save any other nursing mom the headache of buying this dress just to have to return it because it is NOT NURSING FRIENDLY.
Beyond that the dress was cute and quality decent despite the pattern not lining up and being visibly crooked which irked me as well but maybe not all or like that or others wouldn’t notice. I have attached a photo of what I’m talking about for reference.
If I wasn’t nursing all day everyday, I’d enjoy the dress. Just wish they would actually make sure the dresses they claim are nursing friendly actually…

Got the evergreen plaid dresses for me and my daughters. I loved it so much, and it was amazingly comfortable! I’m about a large in most clothes, but a medium fit just fine in this.
