I LOVE this dress! It is very comfortable and flattering! I love how it has a longer slip and enough coverage. Even though it has a zipper in the back, it has enough stretch to not have it feel constructing. It’s even better and sparkles more in person! You do have to be a little gentle with the sequins but they don’t snag onto each other as much as other sequin dresses I’ve tried. Highly recommend!

Great dress! Only complaint is the slip is just a little short and rides up really easy. I will definitely be altering this a little to prevent that. I wear spanks underneath so luckily it helps with not showing to much when it rides up when you walk. The slit could be just pinned or have a loop to keep it from opening up too much when you sit down. Otherwise it is flattering and fits great.

This dress has absolutely everything I was looking for in a dress! The length, the fit, the v-cut and the style! The sequins stay on and don’t come off as easy as some of my sequin dresses that I own. It has a little bit of stretch to it and the zipper in the back makes it super easy to put on. I received many compliments and questions where I got it from. The size of the sequins gives the dress a very feminine, soft touch because they are not the bulky kind of sequins. I have the dress in black and blue. Black is my favourite but the navy blue looks very classy and royal. Love them both! If you can’t decide which colour buy them both! You won’t regret it!

Love this dress!! The material is so soft, even with the sequins. I wore it to my husband’s work party that was themed 1920’s and it was perfect. Felt so fancy! My only two complaints are that the sequins frequently get caught on each other and that the liner was not long enough for me, hitting much higher than my knee. I am 5’4”.

Likely could have gone to a L but didn't have time to exchange. It's stretchy, so cozy to wear, and made me feel like a million bucks. Holiday sparkle at it's finest!

I really adore this dress! It's not super revealing in the neckline as most dresses with this type of design can be. It fits super well considering my bust size which has always been a challenge. The only thing preventing it from 5 stars is the inclination to get stuck on the sequences around the armpits. I had to detangle myself several times throughout the night, but it thankfully didn't rip anything. It wasn't enough of a deterant for me to be irritated, but I can see it being as such for others.

Starstruck is beyond fabulous. However, I found it was not quite fit for someone who uses a wheelchair as the under-slip slides up above the knees a good 6 inches or so when seated, and I’m short too. The sequined on the arms are a bit prickly too, thus this dress wasn’t the best one for me (even though I fell in love with it). For any gal who not not in a wheelchair and who does not have highly sensitive skin…Get! This! Dress!

I love this dress! It was comfortable, not too sheer or heavy and the length was perfect (I'm 5' without heels).
My only complaint was that the stitching/threading on some the sequins kept getting stuck on/wrapped around other sequins (like when I had my arms at my sides I couldn't lift one arm because it was caught).

My friend suggested this dress for my husband's work formal, I was into the lines of the dress as well as the sparkles right away and knew I had to have it! I measured myself and according to my measurements I should fit a large however, large was out of stock. I decided to take a gamble on the medium. I normal wear a medium so I was hopeful but worried at the same time. I'm 5'5" and 155#. I was excited to find when it arrived it fit great! There is some give in the fabric which is helpful. Two complaints after wearing it for the evening would be: the fabric that crosses at the bust kind of sags on one side making the area appear slightly frumpy. I could easily fix this by folding the extra fabric down and tacking it. The other thing is the sequins got stuck on other threads on the dress all night. If my arm was resting on my side and I'd then lift my arm, the sequins on my arm would be stuck to a thread on my side/hip and I'd have to untangle it. It wasn't too bad but it did happen often throughout the night. Other than that, absolutely loved the dress!!! This was my first Ivy City purchase and I know there will be more!

Honestly, I regret paying full price for this dress given the inconsistent sizing and construction. The first dress I ordered was weirdly narrow around my rib cage (not my bust, but just beneath it). I exchanged it for the next size up figuring I’d just get the waist and length tailored. On the second dress, one arm was fully 3/4 of an inch narrower than the other as shown in the picture. I gave up and just kept it. Lovely idea of a dress, but I was unimpressed with the execution. For reference, I’m 5’2” and 110 lbs. (32B bust, 24” waist, 34” hips) and sized up to a Small.

The thing I love most about this dress that no one else has mentioned is the stretch in it! The sequins are woven into the polyester/spandex in one direction which allows it to be flexible and quite stretchy. I was expecting this dress to be stiff, so not only is it beautiful but comfortable too!!

I was actually 6 months pregnant in this picture (hard to tell with the angle of the picture ) and it still totally fit! I’m now postpartum and it is still so flattering and fits great. You could size down for a more fitted look, but you will lose length that way. I am 5’4” and wearing an XS for reference. I receive compliments every time I wear it—it’s a showstopper for sure and the perfect dress for a holiday party!

Ok, the silhouette of this dress is perfect. It’s so flattering. I have never gotten stopped by more strangers to receive compliments than I have in this dress. I feel like a million bucks in it. I sized down one size (the way I would in a smocked dress) and the fit is wonderful. There is a zipper that I’ve never used, it’s stretchy enough I just slide into it over my head. This is my first sequence dress and the sleeves stick to the sides/lap of the dress so fiercely. I can’t unstick them delicately either, I have to give little rugs which result in the loss of sequence and hanging threads. It stresses me out wearing it because of the sleeve situation, but I don’t regret the purchase because of how show stopping it is.

Definitely very stretchy. I might exchange and try a size down because, even though I'm bigger busted for my size, I feel like top is kind of baggy and not flattering. On the up side, I love the soft, non-scratchy sequin fabric!!

Stunning dress and is so comfortable! I am usually a size M, 6/8 on top and 8 on bottom. I got this dress in a size M and it fits perfectly. No sequins fell off the dress as I unpackaged it and tried it on. The sequins on the arms do catch the sides of the dress a little but still didn’t pull them too hard and I didn’t find this to be a big deal.

Absolutely loved wearing this dress. I originally ordered a 3x but it was so big. When I measured myself I should have been a 3x. I decided to exchange it for a 2x and it fit well. Everyone loves my dress and I was getting complements all night long. The only downside it the sequins getting caught all the time. By the end of the night I had so many strings all over. I had to nurse my little guy multiple times while wearing this dress and it was so easy to do. I am glad I decided to buy this dress! It was the perfect and I felt like a movie star.

I got an xsmall, usually I’m an xsmall if the dress is stretchy or smocked and a small in all other styles so this one fits well, it’s the tiniest bit snug and short but definitely fits better than the small. This dress is incredibly flattering. I really didn't think I could pull off this silhouette postpartum but the wrap style is so flattering and the sequins are dazzling. I felt so confident in this dress, more than I thought I would! I wish there were more places I could wear it, it's so gorgeous! Be aware that the sequins do snag, sometimes badly. The dress is definitely still worth it but don't be surprised if you find yourself caught on the dress sometimes.
