About the Role

We are on the hunt for a dress-obsessed, full-time Sr. Apparel Production Manager working a hybrid schedule at Ivy’s HQ in Riverton, UT! Our Sr. Apparel Production Manager will have efficiency and organization top of mind for short and long-term department goals as they assist in elevating Ivy. They will help guide the team with process documents, dig into performance data, and manage project plans, budgets, and production schedules. They’ll be the key connection between teams and help roll out new tech tools to support Ivy's mission. Overseas travel required periodically.

Responsibilities

  • Guide the Product Development team in creating process documentation for new workflows and help facilitate and drive the functions forward
  • Assist in building department KPI goals, adoption ratios, fabric, on time delivery and analyzing performance data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop detailed project plans, implementation schedules, resource plans and budgets for all production plans and calendars.
  • Support strategic long-term planning for cost efficiencies across pre-production, design, sampling, bulk production, quality control and shipping.
  • Make and manage new factory introductions for growing company categories including: bottoms, outerwear, dresses, shoes and accessories.
  • Create and maintain production calendars and act as liaison between production development, merchandise planning and finance teams.
  • Support implementation of Tech related projects and tool implantation, in support of the Product Development team (i.e., PLM integration, new data platforms)
  • Manage and guide team members on price negotiation, purchase orders, sample tracking, production approval, and bulk shipment tracking
  • Travel overseas periodically

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field
  • 6+ years production development and/or project management experience in specialty retail apparel brands
  • Strong understanding of apparel Product Lifecycle
  • Experience delivering high growth at the brand or category level
  • Strong group facilitation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including analytical, problem solving, organizational, issue resolution, and relationship management.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate
  • Ability to influence across the organization, particularly around strategic issues and change management to bring structured, organized workflow to multi-layer team with cross functional dependencies
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and operate under tight time constraints with a strong sense of urgency
  • Strong knowledge of all Microsoft applications (PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Demonstrated ability to create PowerPoint presentations that take large amounts of information and data and present them articulately and succinctly with a clear vision to the executive team
