This dress is thick and warm that it’s fit for slightly chilly weather. It has such an intricate design that you’d look expensive wearing this. Be prepared to be the best dressed in your next tea party! I’m wearing my “zipper size” here. I’m 5’2” for reference.

So first of all I want to say this dress is absolutely stunning in person. Wow the colors are so vibrant and the stitching is high quality. It’s a sturdy dress and beautifully constructed. However it runs on the smaller side. There’s no stretch to the bodice making it difficult for a bustier woman to fit in it comfortably. Unfortunately, I did have to return it and purchase a different dress entirely for my event, however this review is also about the easy and smooth process it was for me to return the dress. I was taken a back by how quickly I could process that online and get a label to ship it back. Thank you Ivy City for making your return system user friendly.

I have struggled loving my body especially my belly after having kids. Even though I’ve lost the weight, in my mind, my stretchy skin makes me insecure and doesn’t look flat in anything I wear. I was nervous to put this dress on but the waist actually looks perfect. It cinches under my ribcage and flares out from there. It shows my shape while also covering my insecure areas. It may be silly but I am grateful for this dress because of how I makes me feel. I smile when I wear it, I feel beautiful, most of all, I like myself when I’m in it. I will be a customer of Ivy City Co forever because of how this dress makes me feel about myself. I love this dress. Listen to my advice, love yourself, buy this dress. I ADORE this dress!! The embroidery is hands-down some of the most exquisite detailing I've ever seen in an ICC dress. So elegant and graceful. The scalloped hem, the colorful embroidery, the pearl button wrist closures, all the details are incredible. Absolutely do not size down! This dress is designed to be very closely fitted but that also makes it incredibly flattering. I'm 5'4" wearing a size medium.

Bought for my daughter who is 5’. We weee worries about the waist being too long but it fit her perfectly. It is absolutely gorgeous. So much attention to details. My only complaint is it doesn’t have anything for the buttons to hook onto at the wrist. Not sure what happened with that. But it looks beautiful anyway

If you're petite, this dress is not for you. I'm 5'1 and 127 lbs. I feel like I'm drowning in this dress-too much fabric. The long sleeves and the long skirt are too much for my frame. It's not a flattering dress. It also runs small. Have to return the dress.

It’s a very pretty dress. Fits TTS with a fitted waist so size up if in between. My only feedback would be to use a dull thread for embroidery instead so it’s not as shiny and looks even classier!

This dress is breathtaking! The whole thing is covered in embroidery. The details are so amazing. I love it so much!! I tried two sizes, my true size XXS, and XS. The XXS felt too tight. I felt too constricted in my bust and waist. The XS is slightly looser than I would like, but much more comfortable. So depending on your measurements and the size chart, you might want to go up one size. It fits like the original Sicily, which is the same silhouette, but just slightly smaller. I am 5’5”, bust 32, waist 24, hips 35. I’m totally obsessed with this dress! It is delicate, but sturdy. I wore it to church in nursery class and my 6th grader’s graduation and my 2 year old climbed all over me! It held up so well! Love love love!!
