    Runs small, especially in the sleeves. Size up

    I bought this in a 6/7 and 13/14, both sizes for which we have two other Ivy City dresses that currently fit my girls perfectly. Compared to the adult dress, which I bought for my two older girls, this dress fit is skimpy. My little girls do not have unusually long arms, but in both sizes, the sleeves are 1-2 inches too short to teach the wrist. They both look like they're wearing an old dress that they outgrew last year, while my big girls' adult size dresses fit as pictured, with sleeves that go down to the wrist and skirts past the knee. Not quite the super cute matching Christmas dresses that I had hoped for. Unfortunately, when I bought these on Black Friday sale, they were nonreturnable. I wasn't concerned at the time since, as I mentioned, they each have two IC dresses on those sizes, but I regret not sizing up since I can't return them. I won't buy long sleeve dresses from Ivy City again unless I can return them.

    As far as construction and style, these are standard Ivy City quality, but the sizing issue is a real bummer.
