About the Role

We’re on the hunt for an Assistant Retail Manager to join the Ivy Fam! The Assistant Store Manager supports the Director of Operations overseeing daily retail operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient customer experience. This role helps lead the team, drive sales, and maintain high store standards. They assist with staff training, inventory management, and operational tasks while stepping in as the acting manager when needed. This role will be on-site at Ivy’s showroom in Riverton, Utah.

Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Development

  • Assist in recruiting, training, and mentoring store associates
  • Support in scheduling, delegation, and performance management
  • Lead by example in customer service and professionalism

Sales & Customer Experience

  • Drive sales through excellent service, product knowledge, and customer engagement
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently
  • Support the execution of promotions and visual merchandising standards

Operations & Store Management

  • Oversee opening and closing procedures
  • Help monitor inventory, manage stock levels, and coordinate restocking
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and procedures

Financials

  • Assist in achieving sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Help manage cash handling, deposits, and daily reporting tasks

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of retail experience, with 1+ years in leadership
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Dependable, proactive, and goal-oriented
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
