I purchased this dress for a wedding where I was the MOH and it was perfect! It is a beautiful dress and I got so many compliments. Great material, lightweight, and it shipped in the timeframe it was supposed to.
I usually wear a L but according to the size chart, it said I needed a 1X. It is a little big on me in the waist/chest area, but I ordered a few sizes up than my normal, so that’s to be expected.

I am absolutely in LOVE with this dress and company! I purchased this piece of art for a southern wedding and the neckline/hemline combo was ideal, along with the color for spring. I say this runs true to size according to the size chart they provide, not your normal size. I’m 5’10 with a large chest and broad back and I ordered a 2x, the bodice is extremely beautiful but there is NO stretch so order accordingly. I made the mistake of not ordering to my proper measurement and had to exchange before the event, fortunately, this company is very accommodating, they WANT you to be happy. When I received the right size I was still able to move: run, dance, sit for hours, and ride a carousel, very mobile! I’ve never felt so beautiful and I got compliments from absolutely everyone that laid their eyes on this dress. Plus the “twirl” factor is to die for. I will absolutely be using Ivy City Co for every event outfit I need.

This is ABSOLUTELY the dreamiest, dreamiest dress. I bought the sage for a wedding I'm in but I'm thrilled at its versatility! The sage is so pretty and the material is fun. No stretch so I wouldn't size down! I stayed TTS and it fits great.

Absolutely love this dress! I purchased this dress for a friend's wedding and I have to say, it's even better than I imagined! I was afraid it was going to be too long on me, but it's the perfect length! The bottom of the skirt just reaches the top of my feet without any shoes on (I'm just about 5'1") and with shoes, it hovers a few inches above the floor. Which for me, is the perfect floor length dress! I also have a short torso and was afraid the bodice was going to look funny on me, but it fits like a dream. 100000/10 would recommend!!

This dress is so fun!!! I love the double layering of tulle on the skirt, it adds so much dimension. Also, the pleating on the bust is so flattering! The only thing that’s not so comfy is the seam on the front of the sleeve rubs on the skin a little. It’s not bad for a short amount of time, but after a full day it’s sore.

I'm 5'2 about 120 lbs and the size small fits perfectly. It just hits the top of my feet and has the perfect amount of fabric for twirling. The sage green is perfect not bright or minty and is a perfect neutral for all year long!

This one is so pretty! I absolutely love black dresses and this one looks so different to me from the other whimsicals. However, I have multiple whimsical dresses in different colors and they are all size small, and the small on this one wouldn't zip all the way up in the back for me. It got really tight around the bust and just wouldn't go up anymore. I'm not sure if it's a zipper thing or if it really does run smaller in the black but I'm going to need to return and maybe try another one (?).

This blue!! This is my favorite whimsical color. I love how it's light enough that shows the detailing of the ruffles in the tulle, but dark enough that it doesn't look as bridal/bridesmaid as the white and blush. It's gorgeous. I don't really like blue usually and this is just I ordered three whimsicals in different colors and this is the one!

Such a pretty sage color! This runs TTS, though on the tighter/more fitted side of TTS. I wouldn't have sized up and couldn't have sized down. I could see this green color being perfect for a wedding or garden photos. It wasn't flattering on my skin tone (kind of washed me out) so I won't be keeping it, but it would be really gorgeous on someone with the right coloring.

I love the mother daughter matching dresses. I lined my sleeves-would be nice if it came that way. The dress was too big on my daughter 10 months old in the smallest size. I took in the shoulders and waist for her and hemmed the sleeves and dress. I used the extra material from her dress to make a matching headband, bow tie for my son, and pocket square for my husband.
