I sized down in this one. It is also a longer dress. I am 5'4 and it drags a bit. But it is so gorgeous and I am obsessed.

This dress is so darling. Love the color and the details on the fabric. The only thing that I wish it was petite or knee length since I am 5.3 and it is really long on me even with heels.

This dress!! It is so amazing! Because of the smocking in the back, I sized down to xs, but actually think xxs would have been a better fit.

The flowy dress is dreams!!! I just wrote this dress to the Cherry blossoms at the Utah Capitol and I got so many compliments!! I am a true XXS and the chest was slightly big for me… probably because I have no boobs lol. So if you do have a smaller chest I recommend going down a size.

I LOVE this dress! I bought it for our trip to the Newport Mansions in Newport Rhode Island, and it was perfect! I was the only one dressed up but felt like I fit into the scenery and it was delightful! I made it casual with the jean jacket (plus it was only 55 degrees!). The picture of me is on the ocean front lawn of the Breakers. The other picture is with my daughter at Marble House, but wanted to point out the shoes I had to wear. I am 5'7" and it was LONG on me, so I needed that 1 1/2 -2 inch lift. Even with the shoe, it did drag on the ground if I looked up or down or going down stairs. It is TRUE to size, I wore the XXL ( I wear size 14 jeans at Old Navy and J Crew if that helps) and it JUST fit where the zipper met the waist, could have had 1/2 an inch more room, but honestly, it wasn't uncomfortable, just would have fit better if it had that extra room, but sizing up would have been too big. I have no idea where I will wear it again, but heck, maybe just grocery shopping! I felt like a princess even though I am 50!

Absolutely love this dress. It’s so fun and cute. Love the smoked back so that it can fit when I am am not pregnant. I’m normally a TTS medium but sized down to a small in this dress.

My daughter chose this dress to wear to prom. It was beautiful! It is nice quality. She loved it, and I loved that it was modest and fit her feminine personality. She is 5’6” and, even when she wore heels, it drug on the floor (FYI-the back hem is a little longer than the front). At my daughter’s request, so that she could dance and not have to hold up the dress all night, I took the hem up a couple inches, which was no small task since the circumference of the dress with so much flowy fabric was 39 feet!

OBSESSED with this dress!! It’s so feminine and so gorgeous! Made very well too! I loved wearing it and can’t wait to wear it again!

Love this dress. Heavy, very good flare for beautiful photos. I am 9months pregnant and it is Bump friendly. Wore it for Easter to church and everyone jaw dropped and called me princess. This is my second dress from Ivy. Both involved zipper. One thing I would appreciate is if Ivy co could provide easy zippers. My husband struggles putting the zippers for your dresses. It’s scary coz if it breaks, will have to find and be behind tailors! Anyways keep up the great work Ivy co, I will be coming back more often now that my princess will be arriving soon!!

I could not possibly have been more thrilled with my dress. I wore it as a prom dress, I got so many compliments, and felt like a princess all night.

I felt so incredibly beautiful the moment I put this dress on. Definitely one of my Ivy faves! I was disappointed that the bottom of the dress wasn't seamed quite right but Ivy gave me a discount to be able to get hemmed.

I am totally in love with this dress. As soon as I put it on I immediately felt like a princess. ❤️ It is the softest dress I believe I have ever owned and it made me just want to twirl around in it. I also bought two other dresses with this one and almost cried when I had to return them because they were too small. But within a week I was placing my second order to replace one of the others that was too small (they were sold out of the size I needed in the other) and I ordered another one. I am definitely an Ivy family member and can’t wait to purchase more for me and my daughter. ❤️

This Secret Garden dress is absolutely stunning! My favorite part is that it is nursing friendly! I am newly postpartum and this dress is so flattering & makes me feel beautiful. The fabric, fit, dress length, sleeves & sleeve length, silhouette, floral pattern, and smocking are all so lovely. The fabric is so comfortable, flowy, and beautiful too. Please make this dress in other colors and floral prints!!! It is one of my favorites! :)

I’m 6 months pregnant and ordered this dress in a medium. It fits BEAUTIFULLY!!! I actually plan to wear this for my baby shower in a couple of weeks ❤️ so feminine, elegant, and timeless!

The dresses are gorgeous! I am 5'7" and 115 lbs and should have ordered an XXS because the XS was a bit big in the chest, but you can't really tell. My baby is 25 lbs and is wearing a 2T. I originally ordered her a 12-18 month in a different dress but couldn't get it zipped.

Absolutely gorgeous dress. Makes me wanna go visit a castle and spin through the gardens. The dress was a little long on me, even with heels on, so I would need to hold the dress up when traveling. But I think that adds to the charm of the dress.

I am OBSESSED with this dress! My very dear friend is an ambassador, and she convinced me to get the Secret Garden dress. It is so flattering for my rectangle body shape and is comfortable on the torso. I am 5' 3" and got a small. it is a bit long and drags on the floor, so I'll need to buy higher heels. I feel like a princess in this dress and always am pleased with Ivy City.

I am in love with this dress, I have a lot of dresses from Ivy but I think this is one of my favorite.I am in love with the print, material is very soft and good quality. For reference I am5’6”, 125 pounds between S-M because of my bust, buy size S and is perfect, the dress Touch the ground is very long.

ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! Course this is just an amateur shot for a review, (not my officially wedding hair and all that) but this dress is PERFECT and I am so glad I found it! For my nature themed wedding, it is exactly what I've been looking for! Unlike the Melody that isn't white and had the stiff tulle, this one is heavier, firmer, much softer and infinitely more beautiful! Between the floral print and the princess puff sleeves, I couldn't be happier. I can't wait to show it off on my big day!!! (For reference, I'm 5'6", 28 I breasts, it's definitely TTS but if you're endowed in the butt and boobs it's a slight squeeze to get on, then fits the body gorgeously!)

Pretty. Like it. Fabric is scratchy. Not as comfy as I hoped. I had hoped it would be more like the Melody, but it is heavier, hotter; and less soft. I also think the pattern placement makes a big difference. Not totally thrilled with mine, but not enough to return (because I don’t know what I would get in return). Mine is mostly white with roses on sleeves. This pattern is not what they show in the stock photos. I am a medium in smocked dresses (size 8 street size), but bodice is a little bit big. Just not big enough probably to size down. I am 36,31,40 post babies. 5’10” for reference. I find most ivy dresses do not seem to be cut for my body type (pear) without smocking, so I have all but given up on non-smocked styles except the Sicily which has a small waist and can blouse over in the top without looking odd on me. I feel that there are lots of glowing reviews on this site for every dress style. However, this review is meant to be honest for those of my build (tall, pear shaped), as I love ivy dresses (and have quite a few in my closet), but not all of the styles suit me. I have discovered (sometimes through painful trial and error) which ones work and which ones don’t. Smocked dresses tend to work better on me for my shape. I am usually an 8 in Anthropologie, but I take a large here in ivy for non-smocked, and medium in smocked. I could size down to small in smocked, but one of the things I have learned as that the elastic is not as flattering on when it is stressed (even if it feels better on). It also lasts longer when it isn’t stretched out so much, which is why I hang my dresses over the hanger from the waist rather than from the shoulders which continues to pull and stress the elastic down. This dress is pretty. Not a game changer. But I still like it, and I appreciate ivy offering such lovely styles. Even if they all can’t be home runs for me personally.

Wish I had a good picture to upload! It is absolutely stunning!! The white is vibrant without being loud and the print is just gorgeous. It is very heavy, and long, so perfect for as white tie event (or in my case, MY WEDDING YAY!) There are some minor zipper troubles as others have mentioned. If you're dancing, be careful because for me it is longer than ground length. I got a Medium (I'm 5'6", 155 pounds. Hourglass but big boobs at 28I so it was a squeeze to get on, then a PERFECT fit. I'd stay TTS! Or one down if you're smaller chested and need it shorter.)

I love this! I feel like a bridgerton duchess. I did size down one size from my typical— just followed the size chart— and it worked great. The zipper is difficult to zip up for some reason though.

Sized down one size, fits great. Love the practical smocked back. Gorgeous dress with a lot of drama! Needs a more sturdy zipper, struggled to get it over seam.
