My 14yo daughter needed two dresses for graduation events, but she's not a dress person and didn't want anything short, or frilly, or weird, or uncomfortable. After a futile shopping trip, I showed her some dresses from Ivy City online. (I heard about IC after asking a woman about the matching dresses she and her daughter were wearing at Easter!) She chose this one and one other. I debated whether to get her the "mini" girl version in her size or trying the XS womens, which had a more grown-up silhouette. The fit guide indicated an XS would fit, so we went with that. The guide was spot-on.
She loves this dress! It fit perfectly, and it's VERY comfortable and easy to wear. She felt pretty and looked like a beautiful young lady. The lace made it dressy enough for her dance, and my daughter loves the color. When you have a kid that will only reluctantly get dresses but then she's this happy wearing this one, it's such a relief and so worth it!

This one might just be the most vibrant of all the Hatties! The colors in the print are vibrant yet moody, so it's the perfect dress for transitioning from summer to fall. It's on sale right now too so if it's still in stock in your size I would seriously RUN to get yours before it sells out ✨
This one is TTS in terms of smocked dresses— I usually wear a medium in the Hattie and Teagan (a large in the Madeline and Lani). If you have the Hattie or Teagan already, I would stick to whichever size you normally get 🥰

Want to love the Hattie
This Hattie dress was perfect in every way except for the sleeves. They are just too poofy for me. I also with there was more arm coverage. Otherwise, a beautiful dress!!
