About the Role We are on the hunt for a dress-obsessed Accounting Intern available part-time for 10-15 hours/week! Our Accounting Intern will work a hybrid schedule Monday through Friday with on-site work at Ivy City Co.'s headquarters in Riverton. Our Accounting Intern will support our day-to-day accounting and financial processes. Working closely with our Controller and Accounting team, the Accounting Intern will have the opportunity to gain an understanding of our financials, reconciliation processes, and practical application of accountancy. Responsibilities Process accounts payable and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data and reconciling credit card transactions Record transactions in general ledger and prepare cash account and credit card reconciliations Additional finance and accounting responsibilities as needed Qualifications Currently enrolled in an undergraduate/graduate program preferably in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field Detail oriented, organized, and follows through on tasks Innovative and constantly looks for ways to improve processes Experience in Excel, along with the ability to learn other office software tools is a plus Why Ivy?
