Love the ballerina silhouette! It’s such a stunning dress. The cups on the bust are a little small but it still works great but keep in mind if you have a larger bust. I’m wearing a small and am always a small in zipper styles or xsmall in smocked.

It is a little tight in the chest/rib cage area so I sized up. I normally wear a Medium in this dress I got a large and it’s a little big but fit very comfortable.

OBSESSED! The fit is incredible. So flattering, so stunning, so dainty and elegant. We can't get enough. The skirt material is a little itchy but luckily there is a soft lining under the tulle. The volume in the dress is worth the stiff tulle. Color is more cream than white I'd say. Definitely going back for the black!

I loved this dress! I bought it to wear to my wedding rehearsal and I am so excited to wear it! I am 5'7'' and around 140 lbs. and the small fits perfectly. I put true to size but when I ordered this dress, only XL was available so I took the plunge and bought it when I typically wear M. Upon receiving it, I had it custom fitted since I needed a dress for my wedding reception rather quickly. For this reason, the cup portions were thrown off a bit. My 4/5 stars is not for that. I love the quality and design and it's so COMFY! However, I really didn't like the tulle. It has remained incredibly stiff. I highly recommend this dress, especially if you know how to tame the tulle.

1,000/10. My upcoming bridal shower theme is Bridgerton and I wanted a white dress that encompassed my theme and this dress was even more perfect than I thought it was going to be. One thing I will say is I listened to the other reviews and sized up by one (which I never do!) and, unfortunately, the medium I originally ordered was too big and I had to exchange for my normal small size. When the small came, it fit me perfect in width and length. I cannot wait to see how this dress photographs and pair it with white afternoon tea gloves. Could not recommend this dress more!

I think the Ballerina is my favorite silhouette! You know you love it when you buy more than one color! I was stressing over whether to buy buttercream or white, but when I saw them against each other in person, they're very nearly the same color. I wouldn't have been able to guess which was supposed to be which. I hope that's helpful to someone besides me!
The white tulle is the same soft tulle as the black now, and it's so gorgeous! I love how the tulle ones fit. These definitely lean towards being best for hourglass shapes! My bust is 36 and waist is 26. Wearing a size small here and I'm 5'4".

This is my first Ivy dress and I love it! I went into the showroom to try some on and the staff were so kind and welcoming! I ended up deciding in need a different size and am going to exchange it, I will update this when I have it! It is seriously such a gorgeous dress!!

It’s a cute dress style and is well made. I do plant to keep it, but I’m a bit disappointed in the dress color. The pictures, especially against the snow, make it look like it is a true white but I think it might be ivory because against a white background it does not match. I was hoping for a white dress, I’m not a fan of the ivory color, to wear for my wedding party. The first dress that was delivered was compared against a lot of white backgrounds and it was exchanged because we believed it to be the buttercream in the incorrect packaging. But the one that arrived recently is the same. Not white, cream or ivory. It has a yellow tinge.
Like I said though, it’s a cute style and is well made. I’m sure I’ll have an occasion to wear it. It just won’t be for the event I bought it for.

Nice dress but wrong color!! I believe that they sent me the buttercream, but they insisted this is their white dress and is more of an off-white. I compared it with my other white dress in the picture. It’s totally not white like the model picture. Even if it’s off-white, the tulle shouldn’t be this brown. I hope they fix this color issue because the model picture is very misleading. I hope they just make future dresses whiter or correct the model picture to reflect the right off-white color. Hopefully they’d send me the whiter version of the dress to make up for this unsatisfactory experience.
PS: I contacted their instagram associate first before emailing them, and she even thinks the one I got is the buttercream dress!!! If i’m not the only one who thinks this dress is not white, shouldn’t ivycity fix this issue?

I had ordered the white ballerina dress for a special event, baptism! Felt in love with the dress online, but once I received it the dress was beige! Not even close to an off white, it was “BEIGE!” I even doubled checked myself and nope I did order it on white, very disappointing since it was for a special event!

When I saw the photos of this dress I knew I had to have it! Love the skirt and the sweetheart neckline! The sizing is hard, given that the waist is pretty small, but it is just a tighter fit. Such a beautiful dress!

It definitely is on the snug side but I prefer it to be more fitted than loose! The tulle is a bit more stiff but overall it is a lovely dress!!! I wish the neckline was slightly higher but I’ll just have to watch out when I lean forward lol

I have to say I love this dress but it was a little different than I expected. The tulle is very stiff and not as flowy. I am wearing a size small but I feel like is tight around the ribs so I was thinking maybe a medium would fit better. The top is very soft and I love the neckline. The zipper has lots of issues going up even when I’m not wearing it so I’m hoping to exchange it.

Loved this dress! Found it was hard to steam and get the wrinkles out. It was quite wrinkled when I got it. It got a bit loose in the chest area but usual for me. It was so pretty for my schools sweethearts dance and I got so many compliments!!!

I love the Ballerina in White... makes me nostalgic for my dancing days! Yes.. plan on steaming the skirt before wear because the tuelle is stiff otherwise. The waist fits well.. though the sleeves do fall off my shoulders ... that’s normal for my body type though and I will get it altered. Helps if you have a bigger bust too LOL I’m just going to say it!

Runs true to SIZE CHART, I usually wear M on other styles, but according to the size chart I needed to size up. It's beautifully made, I only wish it offer more coverage on the bust area. I love that is not off white, but more ivory color. The sleeves, belt, wow! it's a beautiful design! I'm sure it'll turn into an Ivy classic. Again... gorgeous decision making ladie: please consider more coverage for us the busty ladies.

Ballerina dress
I love the dress, but it’s really false advertising. It is NOT white, it’s ivory. The pictures also show the model wearing the dress that looks much fuller because they sewed extra layers in it. If you want it to look exactly like the picture, then do not get it. Other than that, its a really cute style.

Beautiful dress and flattering cut! It is off white, and the tulle is a little stiffer than the black ballerina. I believe this is on purpose, so the skirt can appear fuller, so if you are into a full skirt, this is for you! If you prefer softer feeling tulle, I’d go with the black ballerina instead!

The dress itself fit like a glove and was really cute but the only is not white. Looks like the color of a white tshirt that someone wore too much and it turned off white and yellowish.

This dress is gorgeous but it does run snug like the black ballerina dress. Also the tulle is way stiff compared to the black. On the fence about keeping it because of the stiffness. It is a beautiful dress though! I’m just too scared to wash and steam it and the tulle not soften up.

So pretty, but mid layer is a bit difficult
Ah this dress is so stunning that it hurts me so much that I may have to return it! The mid shell layer is hard and stiff nylon which helps the dress stay airy and shaped but it’s very difficult to manage if you don’t have a steamer. Even then, if you sit down for a long time the mid shell gets all scrunched up it you may have to wear it that way for the rest of the day as you can’t just stroke the wrinkles off. I can’t stress how pretty this dress is though!

Overpriced!
The silhouette of the dress is fairytale but that’s the nicest thing about it. The tulle is super cheap and scratchy, does not lay nice, needs extreme steaming to get it to be wearable. Also the bodice is flimsy and not flattering, the waist is cut very small. It should be priced under $100 for what you are getting but I know it’s been hyped for a while.
