I have the whimsical in short, but finally picked up the long length! I am 5’4, 10/12 and the XL fit the best for me. Took a pic of the color against a white door as I find some of the pictures can be misleading. It’s a true mauve color and it’s beautiful!

The dress is beautiful and well-made, BUT runs small especially in the bust (I’m usually a medium but large fit perfectly). The dress also runs a little short for my liking (I’m 5’6 and the dress did not reach the floor as it shows on the model). Sleeves were also a little short for my liking, wish they hit a little lower. For reference, I’m 5’6, ~150 lbs, and usually an 8/M in most dresses.

I wanted to really love this dress. It looked perfect for my niece's wedding coming up this fall. I saw the reviews that it ran small and used the size chart when selecting my size. As a pear-shaped woman, I often look for dresses with more of a flowy, a-line skirt because my hips tend to be a size or two larger than my bust and waist. When looking at the size chart, I noticed it only gave measurements for bust, waist, and length. I assumed the omission of the measurements for hips meant that the finished measurements were so giving, they didn't need to be included, so I wasn't worried. My bust measured a size 2X and waist 3X, so I ordered the 3X. The waist fits perfect, and the bust is a little large, as I was expecting, and I knew it would have to be taken in. However, I was very disappointed that the lining of the skirt is significantly smaller in the hips than the actual skirt. Had I been given measurements, I might have sized up. I've run into this same problem with linings on dresses that aren't really designed for plus-sized women, but sold in larger sizes. Stores that I purchase from that specialize in plus size clothing will usually have the lining the same exact shape/size as the outer-skirt. Unfortunately, I bought the mulberry color, so it was final sale. I'm probably going to see if I can have it altered. But I'm worried about how much that will cost. Unfortunately there isn't much of a seam allowance to let the skirt part of the linking out, panels will have to be added, which means I'll have to purchase fabric that most likely won't match.

This dress. Is the most beautiful thing I've ever owned. I am floored by it honestly. Because I didn't know what the heck I'll wear it for, and I was worried about the color, I almost didn't get it and I'm SOOOO glad I did. It does run small, I tried a Large previously and it was a bit uncomfortably tight in the shoulders and waist, so I sized up to an XL. The length is perfect, I am short 5'3" and not wearing shoes it just graces the floor. The color is CHEFS KISS perfect, the layers are stunning. I'll have to get some more family photos done for the perfect excuse to wear it.

I am 6’0” and 185, the large fit me perfectly! It was the right amount of flowy and the material is so comfortable. Sometimes those meshy materials can be itchy but definitely not this. The material and fit really feels worth the price tag. Didn’t stretch out throughout the night or anything either, really held its shape!

This dress is so pretty! I'm tall and big and never thought I could pull off a tiered, ruffley dress. I feel in love with all the details of this dress and decided to take a chance. Many of the other reviews recommended sizing up- I went with my regular size and it was a little big in the chest, but fit great everywhere else. These dresses were perfect for our Christmas photos.

I always forget to do reviews! My niece Allie and i wore our blush whimiscals to the ICC picnic in sept and they are so soft and comfortable and durable. My niece played hard and hers still looks brand new. For size reference i am 5’8 and i wear a 3X. I sized up in it and my niece that is 4 is wearing a size 8T. They both run small but now she can wear it for longer. Ivy please make a lavender color!

I was worried that the shade was more on the rusty red side, but it definitely leaned more on the cooler berry side, which I had hoped it would be. I had received a lot of compliments that night! I'm 230lbs and 5'4. Based on size guide measurements I ordered a 3X but it was way too big (and I was skeptical of ordering that size because I've never had to order a 3X but others said they ran small). I ended up ordering a 2X and a 1X because I'm wearing for my son's wedding and was running short on time. The 2X is roomy and the 1X was hard to zip so I went with the 2X. Let me tell you first about my sizing. My chest is a 32, but my waist is a 26. I am 5’1”, so I am very much on the petite size. I have the coral dress in an XS, but it was honestly big in the shoulders and the waist, but fit in the chest. I got the emerald green (which is the prettiest color ever and I’m obsessed), but this time I got it in an XXS. IT FITS PERFECTLY. I have 1 more month until family pictures, but I am COUNTING DOWN the days. PLEASE GET THIS DRESS, you will NOT be disappointed. I have my eye on the blush, black, and mulberry colors next!

I love the white whimsical as is, but saw online someone cut the liner out from the chest area and I had to follow suit. It worked perfectly and I love it even more (I can be really picky about lining colors). If you’re thinking about it, go for it!
