This dress is lovely!! I’ve had to deal with a changed body and a significant weight gain in my upper body/waist/arms, and I must say, I felt pretty in this at the ballet (so appropriate)! :) There is no stretch at all in the bust, so I’d follow the sizing chart for an accurate fit, and that’s what I did!

Beautiful eye catching red! I got compliments all night. I also have the ballerina dress in black. I got an XL in the black but the chest area was a little loose so I opted for the L in the red. It was a bit snug but preferred the tighter fit. The arms have elastic which is nice and forgiving but the waist does not have any give or stretch. If you’re between sizes, it would be safe to size up. Great dress!

This dress is SO FLATTERING except for the bust seams! I think anyone with a D or larger bust is going to have trouble with where the bust seams sit. I did. But the waist band really defines my waist, the tulle lays so nicely, and the red is absolutely gorgeous. 4/5...would be 5/5 without bust seams!

I love the dress! I got so many compliments. It ran about a size large, but it was still pretty! If you get this dress, I recommend flipping it inside out and steaming it before the tulle for the best look.

My favorite ivy silhouette by far! Couldn’t pass up the bright red color for the holidays. I don’t have broad shoulders at all thought so I tend to have a little issue keeping the sleeves up sometimes

The color is stunning and you can’t help but feel like a princess in the skirt. It’s weird to me how the different ballerina dresses fit differently. The busy cups hit me in the perfect spot in the size xl floral, but there was a ton of extra room in the shoulders/back. So for this one I dozed down to a large and the shoulders/back fit great, but the busy cups were weirdly high. They look so great on so many women, but my body proportions just aren’t right for this one I suppose. Gotta stick to my tried and true smocked Ivy dresses. (Bust 34D, 5’6” for reference.)

The sizing of this dress is way off. I bought my normal size but the waist was WAY too small, and if I were to size up the bust and length would be too big. This dress is not meant for larger bodies.

I had my concerns about this dress for me and my mini, but was blown away by the quality and fit. I followed their sizing guide and I am glad that I did! I would typically consider myself a large, but using their measurements had me in a 2xl (not mad about it, just something to be aware of.) The sleeves were bubbly and adorable and the skirt of the dress was flowy and beautiful. Worth every penny and will hopefully find more occasions to wear it for! I mean, Valentines day is right around the corner, right? LOVE LOVE LOVE

We found the perfect dresses for family photos this year. I’m 5’6 and 130lbs and wearing a size small. I’m breastfeeding so I thought for sure the size small would be tight in the chest area..however it was surprisingly a tad bit big. My little girl just turned 1 and she is wearing the 12 month dress which also runs a little bit big on her too. We loved how our dresses looked in the photos for our family. We are big ivy city co fans! I love matching with my little girl.

I really love this dress! For my body personally I feel like the top fits a little bit weird where I have to kee pulling and adjusting it but not enough for me to return the dress. We got so many compliments wearing them today ❤️❤️

But sadly does not have give in the chest area. I wouldn’t say I’m large chested but even after one size up, it still didn’t fit. I didn’t want to go up two sizes because it started looking odd in the waist. I’ll be looking for a dress with more give in the chest.

This color and the cut is beautiful, but I feel like it’s made disproportionately? The sleeves, shoulders and chest area are so big while the waist fits perfect. I have had the same problems with my lilac ballerina and my Odessa dress.

This is my favorite Ivy City silhouette and I'm so happy it's here in red! This is a sort of tomato red color and I think I would have preferred a bit of a deeper/cooler red (like the short Cosette) but, as always, the silhouette is a stunner. Thank you so much for keeping the original ballerina for those of us who love it, as well as adding the Gala/Clara for those who aren't fans of the bust seams. I'll be here for the original ballerina for life!
