I wanted to love this but unfortunately the arms/back were too tight for me. It was a beautiful dress and I think I just needed to size up. It was flowy and comfortable in the lower half but just too tight for my back and my arms. For reference, I'm 5.5" and was 153lbs pre-pregnancy, athletic build, and pretty broad and muscular throughout my back. When trying it on, I was around 24 weeks pregnant and around 185lbs. I had ordered the Medium because my arms and back have widened even more during pregnancy, but unfortunately, it was just too tight for me to feel comfortable. I returned it and will be ordering it in the darker color in a Large, hoping it will have a little more give in the back.

This dress is a beauty! It’s very comfortable and light! It has a little stretch on the waist. The print is beautiful! I’m about 5’2” so I had to get the hem shorted a few inches but it was worth it!

This dress is beautiful. The length is great & even at 5 ft 4.5 inches, I can get by will small wedges without needing to be hemmed. I will say that the arms were a bit stiff, so If you have larger arms, this could be a challenge!

I’m obsessed with the Lavender fields maxi! I haven’t gotten a maxi style from Ivy since the Whimsical and I think it’s so elegant! I wore it for a family outing in the Sun and it’s just perfect for summer! I felt like a Princess and loved the lining. It allowed me to breathe and keep cool even on a warm day. The chest sizing and overall sizing for this is less fitted than normal small sizes for some dresses I.e. Aniston, etc. those run tighter on me. For this small I could still gain a few more pounds and fit into this which I appreciate. Definitely worth a buy!

This dress is truly beautiful and I loved wearing it out. I have the same silhouette in the red toward print in a size large which fit fine but was a little loose in the bust I opted to get my usual size medium and it did fit better in my bust however the fit in the arms especially underarm was a little tight. Not too tight for comfort just noticeable. Still this it a great dress to have for any formal or dress up occasion.

I love the pattern and the length and the sheer sleeves. It's so pretty. My only complaint is how high the waist hits. It barely goes over my chest and then gathers right below. I'm 5'10", so not sure if it's me or the cut. It would be a little more flattering closer to the natural waist.

I thought this dress was perfect for a wedding on the water… and I was correct. This dress is a 1X. I am 5’7” 197lbs and a 12-14 in numerical sizes. I’m saying it’s true to size due to being able to match size by measurements but I’d be ordering an XL anywhere else. Okay, enough size whining, let’s talk about the dress! The only reason I’m knocking off a star is for the fabric. It looks gorgeous and flows beautifully, but the fabric retains heat while wearing and is very delicate. If you wear it with heels, take a nail file to the lift caps to avoid snagging the bottom of the dress. I wish I had thought of that before it happened! The good news is, the flowing nature of the maxi shape will make it hard to notice for future wear.

I love this dress but the sizing is a little off. I think it’s the length. I sized down from an XS to an XXS because I was afraid the fabric would overwhelm my small frame (I’m 5’0 and 122lbs). The length was still long and the arms feel really tight. Not terrible and I’ll most likely keep it, but definitely something to keep in mind if you’re on the petite side. Still unsure if I’ll exchange to an XS because it would probably fit better all around but would be much longer.

I love this dress!! I purchased it to wear to a wedding in the summer. The color and print are gorgeous!! I have to wear long sleeves and the sheer fabric gives me coverage while still feeling cool. It'll be perfect with a pair of navy blue strappy heels that I already have! I'm thinking that, after the wedding, I'll raise the hem to a tea length so that I can wear this dress for a lot of other occasions.

First off, Ivy City CO’s customer service is amazing. I had an issue with a previous dress I bought and they corrected it and gave me this dress for free. I bought the matching one for my daughter and they are so beautiful. It fit well, except the sleeves were slightly tight and too short for me. However I am 5’9.5” and often have issues with lengths in sleeves. It still looked lovely, and was a good length even with my height. It was a couple inches off the floor for me :)

First, Ivy City customer service is impeccable. I was needing a dress last minute before I left for England and I got it two days before I needed to leave - the team quickly responded to me via Facebook when I panic-asked them if I would receive it in time. Thank you for being so responsive!
The dress itself is absolutely stunning. Heavy fabric, great sewing, no little strings or mistakes in sight. While I got it for a wedding, this will be a staple item for spring parties and church. I love it! This will not be my last Ivy City purchase.
PLEASE NOTE: As other reviewers have commented, the upper arms run tight. It wasn't super noticeable, but it did create some gathering around the bust and I felt a bit uncomfortable. If in doubt, size up. The dress itself is so flowy that the extra fabric in the body won't make a difference, but you will be happy to have the breathing room in the arms.

Oh my gosh this print is stunning! It’s even more vibrant in person. I’m usually a small in regular dresses and xsmall in smocked but the xsmall fit way better (the small was huge in my chest and waist). Only complaint would be the sleeves are a little tight. A size between small and xsmall would’ve fit me perfectly haha. Regardless I love this dress and am so excited to wear it for Easter!
