Love this dress! It is so comfortable, very light when wearing, and can be dressed up or down. It is the perfect blue color and I loved matching with my daughter! Fit is true to size for the smocked dresses, so you can take your true to size or size down if you're in between sizes. My daughter is in the 2T and I'm in the small.

Second order, ordered an M again and fits well! My measurements: waist 74 cm, bust 90 cm and hips 96 cm, my height 172 cm. I love it! I went to brunch this morning and it was the perfect brunch dress. The picture is of me in the afternoon at Zurichsee in Zwitserland. I just had to take it eith me on holiday!

I know it says polyester on the website but it does say 100% cotton on the washing label. So I’m hoping it is actually cotton. I guess I’ll find out when I have actually worn this beauty. If you are looking for 100% cotton alternative, they do have a mia design in a madeline silhouette in brown gingham.

Hands down one of my favorite Ivy dresses ever! Extra stretch in this one, so I sized down to a medium for a perfect fit!

I absolutely love this dress. I got the 2X and I felt like it fit me true to size even with the stretch and smocking. I also get tons of compliments every time I wear it. You won't regret getting this one.

The perfect teacher dress! This dress was a little long on me ( I’m 5’1 and ordered a small) but still fits very comfortably. I sized down from a medium, but would of been able to comfortably fit in an XS as well.

My mom and I both loved this dress! I sized down to an xl. I usually wear a 16/18. My bra size is 38 G. This is the perfect summer dress. The fabric is light and comfortable.

I sized down 2 sizes from my normal size (M) since I heard this dress has so much forgiveness with that smocking. It definitely does, but I wish I would have only gone down one. I will most likely exchange for the small. It’s a beautiful dress! I’ve been dying for that Mia in blue to come back and I’m so thrilled to finally have it! It’s beautiful!

I have enjoyed this dress so very much - I first bought it in a medium after my pregnancy because it was one of the few things that was forgiving but also stylish. The smocking is flattering up top, but it does not hug the waist area. I re-ordered in a small once I dropped the baby weight because I love it so much. We took our Christmas vacation photos in our matching mommy-and-me set, and it was so perfect for the beach. For reference: I’m 5’4, 155 lbs and the small works - the medium was perfect when I was in the 175/180 range - it has a lot of stretch.

I had gotten the Mia in blue and I had sold it (I regretted it) I finally got my hands on it again and I sized down It fits perfect! Just need to save to get me the pink one ☺️

I was worried this dress would resemble a picnic blanket but once I saw it on and in person, I could not have been more wrong. I have a few Ivy City dresses with this style and I cannot say enough good words about it. It's comfortable, flattering, and easily dressed up or down. The shade of blue is stunning, light yet vibrant. The length is great as well. I am 5'3. This is a classic Ivy City dress!

A bit slim in the skirt Looooove the print, but short is a bit slim in the midsection as compared to Madeline or Basil. Not a flattering look for me :sweat_smile:, but the size up was loose everywhere else :woman-shrugging:. Wish it was just a tad bit more full in the skirt because the color is PERFECT!!

I am so in love with this dress! I’m 5’8 and weigh 215lbs and bought the large and it fit very well. The top is made out of this excellent stretchy material. I’ve never felt so confident as I did for these family pictures! I will 100% be purchasing again.

Have this in pink and blue! Love the blue for the 4th and baby showers. This fabric is super wrinkle prone and takes a minute to get the wrinkles to cooperate but the dress is worth it. For size reference, I’m 5’5 130 in an XS - typically a small (or medium if super fitted through the hips), but the smocking has a lot of give.

I got a M in another pattern and it fits well but the extra inches on the L gives me more of the puffy sleeve and volume skirt "ivy look". If I wasn't nursing I would have more room in the bust of the M. The dresses are generous I'm glad I didn't follow the measurement size chart It would be way too big.

I would have loved to see some slight differences from the Madeline, though, as they're exactly the same cut, and it feels too similar to have both Madelines and both Mias. Maybe flutter sleeves or a different length? Be sure to size down once or even twice, ladies!!
