This is one of those dresses you’re gonna want to own in every color. It’s such a flattering dress on every body type and the stretchy bodice makes it easy to stay true to size or even size down (I always buy TTS, but I think a lot of people size down in this style). Absolutely loved this dress for a late spring wedding! Even with the sleeves, I was never hot and the material is very light weight. Got so many compliments! The dress fit great, probably could’ve sized down (I’m a true 2X and went up one size for more flow just in case as I normally do)! It’s more pink in person than in pictures but still light pink (I was nervous when buying that it would come off more nude and too light but doesn’t do that at all) - I’m definitely going to find more reasons to wear this dress and will be purchasing more dresses from Ivy City Co. for special events!

Just got the Madeline during the sale and it is the perfect dress! My mom and I both got the brown color and went back for the pink. I do think the brown is perfect for summer and fall, which makes it even more cost effective. I wear a size medium and it is TTS. It has a lot of stretch so you could size down 1. Great for busty women (I’m a 36DD and this dress was really flattering and did not emphasize my chest size at all).

This dress is truly gorgeous! The quality of material is excellent! It's so flattering and comfortable. I kept hearing I could size down, I'm a true size L according to size charts for most any ivy city dress but reading reviews decided to size down to a medium since I'm not large in the bust. I found however that going with a medium was not a good call as it was to tight under arms in the armpit area, not horribly so but just enough I could tell I'd be uncomfortable over time and wouldn't reach for this dress. I returned it and hope to repurchase in a size L next time they restock! <3

I sized down to xl which is fine for me. But I’m not sure I would do that next time because I like a looser fit. You absolutely can size down though it still fits really well. And if you have bigger arms you might consider staying true to size so the elastic on the sleeves won’t be too tight!
