I love matching my daughters in these dresses, I bought true to size for me, but went up a size for my daughter's so they wouldn't complain about tightness and I'm glad I did. The size up is perfect.

I am OBSESSED with this dress. It was everything I imagined it to be. I chose all black for our Christmas card photos this year, and knew immediately this would be the dress I got for my oldest daughter. First of all, I will start with sizing. Two years ago, I bought my daughter a 4/5 dress for our family photos. Needless to say, it was Covid and it didn't happen. The dress was HUGE on her. (she was turning four, so I thought it may work, she was just too small, I should've consulted the size chart) However, I kept it because it was just too darling and I wanted it for the future. She wore it spring 2022 for family photos then and again on her fifth birthday. When I chose this dress, I ordered a 4/5 for her based on the measurements. It was a perfect fit. She is growing SO fast, so it may not fit for too much longer, but I'll save it for her sister for sure! She is 40 lbs, and 3'8" for reference. Let's move onto quality. When you're paying $75 for a dress your kid may only wear once, you want to make sure it is perfect. The dress arrived pristine. No leftover strings dangling or any pulls in the dress. The outer layer is a very fragile tulle, so it's possible for that to happen VERY easily. The carefulness of the sewing and packaging are very evident. The dress looked so great, I was impressed. I pulled it out of the bag and steamed it (make sure you do each layer individually), then hung it in the closet. The fabric is very nice, not itchy or plastic feeling. The style. It looks exactly like it is pictured. I love how the little puffed sleeves look. I want to buy her at least 55 more in this style. The length is great, lands right below her knees. It is an elegant look and will fit any occasion that a black dress may be essential. I am planning to take it with us to Paris next month to take photos of her in it there. She will fit right in! I would 100000% buy this dress (and any others) from Ivy City Co. They are timeless and elegant, your little one will look amazing. You will not regret it.

Got size 9-10 for my 8 yo and fit perfectly on her.

I can’t wait for my baby to fit into the black ballerina. She is very petite 16 month old and weighs 19lbs, so it is a little big on her especially on the top and the sleeves fall off her shoulders, but she will be able to wear it for a long time and have time to grow into it. Definitely a must have for your little princess.

I absolutely love the black ballerina on my oldest! It is the perfect little black dress to have in the closet. I sized up to an 8, so the top area is a little big on her but she will have more room and time to grow into it. She is 6 yo and usually wears a tts 6/7 in ICC. It is definitely a must buy and you can stay with their tts for the perfect fit.

My mini wore this in my mom’s wedding. It is such good quality, and had so much movement on the dance floor. The only thing we didn’t love were the sleeves- they just seemed to hang there. Our solution: just tuck them up under to make “princess” sleeves. My daughter became obsessed with this dress once we did that with the sleeves.

I want this dress in every color! The black is so classy looking. Absolutely love it!!

it runs a little small, if you want room for your mini to grow in , you do need to size up for sure and of course as everybody has mentioned already, it is a beautiful dress to match mom and mini

Pretty dress It’s a cute dress. Unfortunately the dresses have no stretch and didn’t fit one of my girls. Would love to see this with a smocked back for a better fit and longer wear time.
