This dress was such a pleasant surprise! The lace is stunning and this dress is so flattering yet sooooo comfy! Was not expecting the fabric to be stretchy! I got a size small and it fits like a glove!

Love it!! Perfect fit, soft and comfortable as well as beautiful… It was perfect for a baby shower that I attended, and will be wearing for a granddaughter’s graduation party as well as Father’s Day celebration! Gorgeous details, feminine and elegant. Highly recommend!!

I will preface by saying this dress is gorgeous. I’ve never seen one like it. But I find it highly suspicious none of these review are talking about the buttons. THE BUTTONS. LORD THESE BUTTONS. So beautiful but impossible to button. They are so slippery and loops are so small. I kid you not it took me over a half hour to do the whole dress. At one point I had to use a Bobby pin to kind of thread them through the loop, all the while being terrified I would break one and not be able to return it if needed. You need to plot out time in your day when you plan to wear this dress. I unhooked the absolute MINIMUM amount to avoid having to do too many when I wear it again. I did have to return and size up from small to medium because of too much button gaping (which may be a personal preference as the buttons do stretch, I just didn’t like the look.) TLDR; it’s beautiful and you should buy it but prepare for these buttons to be a fierce adversary.

This is my favorite Ivy City Co. dress! The lace is beautiful and the quality is exceptional! This dress does not have a ton of stretch, so make sure to follow the size chart.

I was surprised at how soft and stretchy the fabric of this dress is. I was on the fence of getting it because it looked more fancy, but then I saw pictures of other's being able to dress it down! I love getting dresses I can wear more than once. The only small complaint I have about the dress is that the buttons can be a little hard to use. I was afraid I would break them.

I sized up and it fit perfectly. I was worried about the buttons gaping. But there is no gaping. I would definitely size up for comfort and to prevent the buttons from stretching.

I’m usually between a small and medium. I think the medium fit perfectly in this dress. I love it! So pretty! I’m 5’4” and 140 for reference.

What a surprise this dress was. The fabric is so, so soft and delicate. The lace is so feminine. I would say it runs TTS. One needs to pay attention to the waist measurements in particular, the rest is stretchy! The dress has very delicate, beautiful buttons. I hope they survive the constant opening for nursing (Maybe extra buttons can be included in case one breaks or is lost?)

Classic beautiful dress!!!!! I am so in love with this dress!! I had it from the original launch and it was too big on me, in size XS. I tried size XXS first and it fit too tight. So I got XS and it’s perfect! I would say it runs small. Smaller than the original launch. I sold the white one I had, but still have the Monroe in Auburn and it’s definitely bigger than this new one. Both in size XS. I am obsessed with this dress! The lace details are so amazing! The silhouette is so good!!! I am 5’5”, bust 32, waist 24, hips 35. I will wear this for years and years!!

This dress is an absolute dream and must have!!! I’m so glad I was able to get her!!! My usual size in Ivy is a Medium however I opted to size up to prevent the buttons from gapping. I’m so glad I did because the large ended up fitting perfectly which means my normal size medium would have been too small. The fabric is so nice and soft and very comfortable. I plan on getting lots of wear over the summer!

I would say this dress runs slightly small so if in between sizes size up. I am wearing one size up and i am also 34 weeks pregnant. I love this dress so much and i am happy it was restocked. I would love for this silhouette to come in a black as well.

Man, I feel like every Ivy dress I get becomes my new favorite! The Monroe is so beautiful and I can't believe how soft and comfortable the fabric is! The lining is a stretchy, silky fabric. I was worried about the buttons gaping, but they don't at all. I'm so excited about this dress!

100% my favorite dress! I got this for my getaway dress after seeing it on Al Carraway. XS worked great; I'm 5'2", 32C. If you have a larger bust, I'd recommend sizing up so the buttons don't strain.

It’s a beautiful dress but I was a little disappointed because it came with a few very loose buttons that I had to sew on better and when I put it in to wear it I discovered that 2 buttons were completely missing, no dangling thread or anything. It was like they were never sewn on! I’m hoping that I can find some of the same buttons somewhere or at least some similar. It was also a tiny bit big. My measurements were actually bigger than the largest size but I got it anyway and was just hoping it would work and it’s actually a bit too large.
