Yall are sleeping on the Emmy dress!!! The most delicate and dainty blue embroideryflowers with green leaf details is so precious!! I was worried that the sleeves would be waaay too big – and they are a little bigger than I would prefer, but with wear, the fabric softens and they lie down more so they're not as poofy. Smocked but a tight smocking, so you can size down maybe but not nearly as much as in a Madeline. Love love love.

This is a very special dress. I love it so much! The smocking is a little more snug, but I got my TTS medium (size I wear in all smocked styles except the high neck type). I love it!

I couldn’t wait to wear this dress for Easter Sunday! Received many compliments on how beautiful it is. Fits great and still has a lot of stretch on top for being a more tightly woven smocking. I’m 5’2” 136 lbs and S fits perfectly.

Emmy is a dream!!! I wore it for some pictures and it was perfect! The smocking is a bit tighter than normal but still fits true to size. I’m 5’4, 33 b, and 25W for reference. You NEED this dress!

I sized down to an extra-small in this style and it fits just right. The floral embroidery is beautiful and I am in love with the scalloped hemline.

Again this dress is true to size but you can certainly size down ! Such a timeless classy piece and very breathable and comfortable ! I love how simple yet elegant this one is definitely a favorite

I LOVED the fit of this dress, it was just about perfect! The only problem was the sleeves. They were SOOO poofy! It overwhelmed my short 5'4 frame. I had to send it back because the sleeves were just too much. Sad, if they were normal sleeves i would've kept it in a heartbeat. The fit was SO flattering.

This dress is soo stunning gives me total Cinderella vibes I absolutely love it after seeing our Gorgeous Tash try it on I knew I had to have it and I’m soo glad I got it. This dress is tts I’m wearing a size medium I’m 205lbs, 40Bust, 35Waist, and 5’6. I’m what you consider midsized lol I usually wear a large or xl in the non smocked but always stay medium in the smocked and it always fits soo nicely so I’d say you can stay tts or size down it has a good amount of stretch. Also I’m always checking reviews before I buy so I made it a point to add a close up picture of the details and a video to give you guys a better idea of how it looks and fits in person I hope this helps God bless!

I absolutely love this dress it’s soo pretty and flattering. I usually wear a medium in smocked and a large or xl in the zipper dresses. I’m wearing a size medium I would say it fits tts you could stay tts or size down. It’s a little more snug fitting then the Madeline but that’s what I love about it. It’s seriously absolutely beautiful I highly recommend!

I love ivycity dresses and was so excited to try this dress. The torso runs shorter than other smocked dresses and the skirt is way longer. The proportions seemed off and the fit looked funny on me. Will be returning. Hope for another version of this dress that is shorter.

So I am returning this but I still think it is a lovely well made dress. It was a maybe from the start because I wasn’t sure how I would feel about the green on the flowers (I personally would have loved no leaves or stems but i’m a blue and white lover) and also not sure how a tighter smocked dress would fit on my 36G bust. It actually fit fine (I’m wearing a sports bra in this photo so don’t blame the dress for the shape) in the same size I wear in the Madeline (large) but I do wish it were a little longer in the smocking. If you are around my size it might be good to size up in the chest if you want a longer smocking. It’s a beautiful dress I think it just isn’t my dream dress (mine is the liesel) but I can totally see it being the dream dress for many.

Emmie is SO underrated!! The embroidery on this dress it to DIE FOR and absolutely worth the price of the dress. Blue and green are my favorite colors so when I saw the sample I knew I needed to have it. This may be one of the prettiest dresses I own and it's going to be perfect for spring. The smocking is much tighter on this dress than the Roselyn (the blue thread detail there is stunning too, btw) but I was still able to size down. Also, this dress is NOT nursing friendly even though it's smocked, so just be aware of this! All in all, I am SHOCKED that this dress isn't already sold out because it has some of the best details I've seen in an ICC and is so dainty and beautiful I know I'll be wearing it regularly as soon as it's warm out.
