I loved this dress right when I first saw it on an ad. I bought one dress in a small because I never shopped at IVY before and didn’t know my exact size. I followed their measurements and the dress was big on me. Later I bought an XXS like my usual size in dresses from other brands. The quality is amazing! The dress fits a little snug around the shoulders, a little short on the arm length, but fits well everywhere else. Overall, my only complaint is I couldn’t find the perfect fit. I did buy the dresses on final sale so I’ll have to find a place to resell them.

So pleased with this dress! The quality is amazing! Nothing scratchy, nothing cheap looking. Fit is perfect on me. My measurements were in between a small and a medium. I decided to go with a small so it would fit well in the bust. I was a little worried that it would be too tight in the waist, but it fits like a glove! So flattering. The girls’ dresses are adorable too! I was able to size up for my 4 year old so that it would be longer in front. For my one year old I got her exact size instead of sizing up since they only had 12-18 month size. It also fits great since I wanted less length for my not-yet-walking child. So they all worked out perfectly!! So happy!

From XL to XXL has not been proportioned correctly for the size. I've sewn professionally for over 50 years and was very appointed with the sleeves, they have not been enlarged and are too narrow from the top of the sleeve to the elbow. It has now been enlarged as the body of the dress has been. Sorry. Diana DeFriez

I would say the skirt is fuller than I expected from the pictures and it may because I ordered an XL. I like this dress but would have liked a little less material around the bottom.

Such a classic dress. It took me by surprise by how heavy it was when I took it out of the bag. Such good quality and love the attention to detail even with the extra hidden buttons to keep it from opening. I am a size large in nonsmocked ivy City Co dresses and I would this ran true to size even had room around the arms. If you are larger in bust size though I would recommend sizing up. ❤️

Ok this is the BEST button dress I’ve ever owned. The buttons don’t come loose at all plus the extra snaps at the waist are a plus too. I can confidently wear it without constantly checking if my buttons popped open. Make more dresses like this and I’ll be buying them

I love, love, LOVE this dress! It makes me feel so feminine and pretty, and I got tons of compliments. The first time I put it on, I found the buttons were hard to button, but all it took was one try-on to stretch the buttonholes enough that they are no trouble at all now. My biggest piece of advice is to follow the size chart for the waist, particularly. I am normally a 1X in Ivy City dresses with a stretchy waist, but this dress doesn’t haven’t any stretch in the waist, and I had to exchange it for a 2X. The 1X fit, but not comfortably. The 2X is perfect. My measurements are 46-40-52, for reference.

This dress is so beautiful! The color, the design, all of it. I got an XL thinking my whimsical size, which is slightly too big for my liking. No stretch but true to size I think. I am short at 5'3" so it touched the floor on me in the back, I didn't think it was too excessive though, I felt like a short boot or heel would be perfect. I wanted this for a pretty all occasion dress, wear to work, out. Etc, but I'm ending up returning it mostly for the buttons. I just don't have it in me to fight with buttons to get it on and off. There are a few snap buttons lower down between the regular buttons, and honestly I would love if the regular buttons were decorative and it snapped all the way up for ease!

It’s very comfy and the buttons, ruffle detail and lining are big wins! They even have little snaps between the waist buttons to help hold it shut which is so smart. The waist falls a little high on me, like all my Ivy dresses, so the fabric bulls a little higher than ideal around the mid-section, but still beautiful!

I absolutely adore the Lisbeth! I am wearing my TTS in a medium. For reference I am 5’4”, 140lbs, and a 34D. I love the buttons and snaps on this dress. There is zero gapping in the front chest area which I usually have to worry about with buttons, but not with this dress. I do want to let you ladies know it is a very long dress and the front hits my ankles and the back hits the ground. I have to pick up the dress so the bottom doesn’t drag on the ground. It might be to long for anyone under 5’4”. But, it is a gorgeous dress, so if you want to have it hemmed I would totally still buy it. It is one of my favorites. Never received and “not their problem”
I ordered a dress on 10/14/21. A label was created 10/15 and then was never shipped. I was told to contact the shipping company on my own, then wait a week, then wait another week, then surprise- your dress is lost. Now, almost 1 month later, you claim there’s nothing you can do for me besides issue a gift card even though i have never even received a product. The dress I ordered is now sold out. I want my original form of payment back. This is the worst customer service I have ever encountered.

I feel like the sizing chart is weird. According to the models measurements she should wear an xxs but they have her in a small. Iv noticed that on all their other dresses too so it’s hard to pick a size when their own measurements don’t match what size they are wearing. The dress is a lot of fabric and I feel like my petite body drowned in it. It was not flattering on me. To me it looked like a pioneer outfit. I am 5’4 108lbs and got the xs but could have worn xxs

I am wearing the M and it is TTS. I am 5’4” with bra size 36D or 32DD depending on the brand of bra. The sleeves go all the way down to the bottom of my wrists and the back of the dress hits my ankles. It has a high low length, so the back is longer than the front. It is nursing friendly with the buttons and snaps that go all the way down past the belly button. So, it would be perfect for any moms that are breast feeding. I just love everything about this dress; the style, length, color, and print are all so perfect. The material is so soft and flowy. It is so comfortable and can be worn during any season, just throw on a cute jacket when it is cold outside. Thank you Ivy City Co for another beautiful dress.

This dress is beautiful and perfect for fall. I got tons of compliments when I wore it and the quality of it is incredible. I am a true size 6 and got a medium. I tend to stay away from dresses with buttons due to having a larger chest that causes gaping between buttons but there are little snaps between buttons that keeps everything secured. Ivy City thought of it all! Love!!
