The dress was beautiful but ran very small. I followed the sizing guide based on my measurements and couldn't zip up the final third of my dress. Because it was final sale, I was unable to return it. I wish that I had known it ran small.

This is a really pretty dress. I am 5'10" and when I tried it on I was disappointed in the length, but its still OK. It seems clear that it was made by and for girls who aren't as tall. The model in the image looks taller than she is, if you read the details she is 5'7". Just keep that in mind.

I was really looking forward to getting this dress, but unfortunately, it ran small… There was not a lot of give with all the ruching and stitching. My bad that I did not notice the “final sale” on it when I ordered which meant it could not be returned or exchanged… This was my first Ivy City purchase and I am disappointed.

Love this dress. It’s beautiful and fun and very flattering. I wear a 22/24 and the fit was good. The band under the bust doesn’t have any elastic so if you carry your weight high like me you might want to up size just so you have a little more room. I’m 5ft 3in and the length was right past my ankles with heels - just what I wanted. Be careful to not wear jewelry that could snag or catch on the material because that is easy to do with this dress. I thought maybe I could wear one of my tulle skirts under to make it more full but it is lined with a straight shell underneath that goes the length of the dress. I got a ton of compliments and asks where I got it. It’s a statement piece for sure.

The beautiful layers of tulle are just as lovely in real life as in the pictures! I have revived lovely compliments on it! If you are shorter (I am 5'2) you might need to get it shortened or wear very high heels. The dress touches the floor. There isn't any give in the waist so I recommend sizing up. It's a lovely dress!

This is a beautiful dress. I received many compliments on it.. Since the material is Tulle, there is absolutely no give or stretch.. I ordered a size Large. I normally wear a Medium in dresses.. I would recommend going up one size, depending on your shape.. Customer service is by email.. My experience was they were on the slow side to answer my questions..

I own 7 of the whimsical dresses in different colors. However, I was disappointed when the red one came because it’s significantly shorter than all of my other whimsical dresses. It’s a good 3 inches shorter (I inserted a picture comparing it to my black whimsical). It’s unfortunate that there’s so much inconsistency with these dresses.

Tried to return and unfortunately was told I could only return for store credit because I bought thru Black Friday sale so make sure you read the fine print. The dress is pretty and made with good material but the chest/ waist have zero give. I’m a true medium with slightly broad shoulders and the dress was just too tight for me, even without wearing a bra.

the RED!!! oh my goodness.
