I absolutely love the Melody dress! It made me feel like a princess. I chose the XXL which was the higher end of my size, but I could have gotten away with an XL due to the smocking. I'm 5'3 and I don't even have to wear heels, which is a plus. It's floor length to me, but not so excessive that I step on it. It's comfortable too! I'm in love with this dress

(Something I always struggle with long dresses at my height.) it is incredible comfortable, I just wore a body suit underneath as I purchased this for a dance recital. Holy wow am I obsessed with this dress everything about it is perfection. I’m 5’2” and wearing my TTS small and it hits the floor but doesn’t drag when I’m barefoot. The smocked back also makes it really comfortable. I could probably have gotten a size down, but I’m happy with it not being too tight.

The Melody dress is my first purchase from Ivy City Co and I am completely obsessed with it! I wore it to my Bridgerton themed bridal shower and everyone loved it! I want to wear this dress everywhere! The tulle layer allows the dress to have volume. I would recommend steaming the first layer to get some of the wrinkles out since it’s a more delicate layer. I got the XXL to fit my bust and just had the waist taken in slightly since I have a much larger chest.

This dress is seriously a dream come true! I felt so beautiful and so comfortable and confident in this dress. I wore it to a galentines event and felt so special. I was able to dance and twirl and have an incredible time. I’m 5’3” and ~195lbs and 34/36 D and I ordered my true size XL and i feel like it fit perfectly with enough room to move but it wasn’t baggy or falling off. In this picture I’m wearing some very high heels but when I’m barefoot the hem of the dress just touches the ground. 10/10 would recommend. Might be my new all time favorite dress!!

This dress is not only stunning, it is COMFORTABLE and incredibly versatile. I have broad shoulders, a large chest and small hips (upside down triangle, which is difficult!) but this dress flatters where it should and hides imperfections. It's tts, but many people can probably size down too. And it washes well!

The second this dress came out I knew I had to have it for my maternity photoshoot. The original dress I purchased had a few zipper issues and the customer service team at Ivy City were quick to exchange the dress for a brand new one. This dress is stunning! I wore it for my birthday picnic. You can size down for a tighter fit. It’s also a lot lighter than I thought it would be. Only issue with my dress is that I’m 5’2 and it doesn’t touch the floor so this dress is definitely not floor length.

The outer fabric on this dress is absolutely stunning! I also LOVE the smocking on the back and that it is smocked in the waist as well! I love the print of this dress and silhouette! I just wish it was longer as it is not floor length on me. It is always easier to remove material rather than add it so i wish it was just a few inches longer to accommodate taller girls!

need to be altered. For me, it runs a little large but I think I would

The bust is a little snug for my liking but I am nursing. I have a very long torso and wish it was just slightly longer at the waist because it hits a bit above where is most flattering on me but it’s still beautiful. The top layer is so silky soft and flows so beautiful when walking. So light, airy, and dreamy!!

I am normally a 2X but sized down to a 1X as i heard it ran big and because it had the amazing smocking in the back. If you are on the fence with this one, then i wouldn’t pass it up.

The Melody dress is what fairytales are made of ♀️ The floral material is so soft and the tulle underneath gives it the perfect poof-not too much not too little. And for being a long dress it does not feel heavy at all. I am 5'6 and it hits right at my ankles. I was able to size down from my typical smocked size of XXL to XL and it fit like a glove. Follow that size chart for a perfect fit
