Love how light and comfy this dress is! Perfect for summer! It's definitely more of a cream color than the white that it appears in the pics. The fit is very flattering for a curvy figure - accentuates and hides in all the right places. Runs a bit large so you can size down. My usual smocked size in IvyCity is XL and the L in this dress fit me perfectly. For sizing reference, I have a 45' bust (38DD), 5'7", 195lb, size 12/14.

So beautiful and comfortable. The color is definitely closer to yellow cream than white. I love the breathability of the cotton fabric and that it is lined. The smocking is very forgiving; I was able to size down to a Medium. I like that the smocking is more fitted than that of the starry night dress, but still nursing friendly for us postpartum mommas. For reference, I am 5'3" about 170lbs and 36D.

One of things I love about this one is that the material is so light, perfect for hot weather ! The details are so pretty , the cut flattering, and so comfortable ! One of my favorites !

Simple but beautiful. It wrinkles extremely easily and needs a steam before each use. I wish the dress had another layer to be a bit thicker.

This dress is GORGEOUS!! The embroidery is to die for!! It’s very comfortable and stretchy. I got my tts but wish I would have sized down. It is also pretty short. Hits me slightly above the knee and I am 5’4. It’s a little too short for my liking so I will be returning it! I wish it was longer then I would keep it for sure!!

One of my all time favorite ivy dresses it runs large—the smocking is the stretchiest out of any ivy dress I have. You can definitely size down. The detailing is so beautiful though! And I love the texture of the off white fabric. It’s so, so pretty!

My TTS is a small, 34B, 26 waist size 2/4 but I sized down to a Xsmall. I found it very roomy in the chest and shoulders and I wanted the sleeves to stay put. It is a little short my me (5'10) but not unwearable! Its darling!

I have been wanting the liesl for a year now and I’m so glad I finally bought it!!! I always size down with smocked bodices and honestly could have sized down twice with this. Such a beautiful fabric and the embroidery on it is STUNNING. I live in Germany and have so many people asking about my dress!

I really like this dress. I had to return the first one that was sent because one of the sleeves didn’t stretch at all. That process was easy. I am 5’3” and 140 pounds, 34A. The small fit, and I possibly could have sized down since there is stretch. The short hit right at the knee. I feel like their photos are a little misleading as the dress is actually a cream color rather than white. I took a picture next to an actual white dress just for comparison sake. Still love it though

The Liesl dress is adorable! It is so light and soft and I love that I can wear it year round :) The smocking on the top allowed me to size down from my TTS small to an extra small. I love the shorter length! 5'8" for reference :)

This feels TTS even for a smocked dress! It's pretty darling, personally not my favorite style and length for my body type but I still think its so dainty and perfect for spring.

OBSESSED with embroidery, "eh" on the fit. The smocked top is sooo stretchy, but the embroidery isn't, so yoy get lots of floofy extra material in the bust

I loved this dress when I first saw the sample but I’m so shocked on how big it is, the smocking is so loose it gives me no shape , I want to sew it up for a fitter fit but other than that I love this dress, it reminds me of something Rapunzel would wear

I LOVE this dress! I wore it for my senior pics and it was PERFECT! It runs slightly big but I stayed true to size and fits well (especially after I put it in the dryer for a couple minutes).

My fav thing about this dress is that it is so versatile. I was able to wear it in the fall and winter but the color scheme and short sleeve design make it perfect for summer and spring as well! The embroidery is so beautiful and I love that they made the smocking stitching so unique. I sized down but probably could have sized down one more time because the smocking is so extremely stretchy. It's a little bunchy around my chest as a result and I have to tug it down sometimes, but still a flattering and comfy dress.

I love this dress the colors, the feel, it’s so romantic, this is a size XXL, and I think I could have definitely sized down but it was the only one left.. my measurements are, busy 41inches and waist 35 inches.

Quality is INCREDIBLE, fit is meh This looks sooooo good on others, but the tight stitching across a smocked bust is going to be a hard fit for anyone busty. If you buy your waist size, the bust will stretch every where except the embroidery, which will pull too tight. But if you buy your bust size, the waist will be too big. I'm OBSESSED with it for my girls, but just sad it won't work for me :pensive:.

Beautiful! Lost this dress! I am usually a True L in all ivy dresses, but I sized down to a M in this one because of the stretch. I ordered the short length and it was shorter than I expected (a couple inches above the knee) but still looks darling. So happy I snagged it on sale!

The material is incredibly breathable and the dress is just so cute. I felt beautiful, flexible and stress free. Easy to breastfeed. Easy to chase the kids. Easy to wear. Flattering, fashionable and totally worth the price.

So dainty! Love how crisp and dainty this dress is! The sleeves are very puffy, but the smocking is gorgeous! I’m 5’5 210lbs B-46 W-36 H-46 and got the xxl. I normally wear a l/xl or 14/16 dress in dresses, so definitely check the sizing guides! I possibly could have sized down, but I was worried about my bust, and glad I stayed with the sizing guide measurements. Also got this in mini for my daughter! :heart_eyes:

wanted to love it.....but! I was so excited about this dress, but when it arrived it was a dingy yellowish white that didn't look anything like any of the pictures. This is the second order from Ivy where the dress I ordered was not the same color as the one featured on the website. Also, the short dresses are soooo short I had to return them. Not a comfortable working knee lenghth. So disappointed because I love supporting women owned businesses, but they're 2-2 on returns from this fan.

Ok, first of all, I do have to say that the quality here is INSANE!! SOOOOOO good! It makes it even sadder that the fit was a fail on me. The gorgeous embroidery goes right across the fullest part of your bust and has no give, but the other parts of the bust are just as stretchy as a regular smocked dress, so you end up with weird poofs above & below the embroidery. It looks sooooo good on so many people, but unfortunately a harder fit for those of us with larger busts. I'm not tooooo upset because there are plenty of other Ivy dresses that work well for me... just wish this was one!

Beautiful dress! It is very lightweight and the embroidery is stunning. Because the embroidery is darker in color I have worn this with a denim jacket and brown booties and it worked together nicely. The dress does run a little big IMO, but I stuck to my usual medium and am eased with the fit.

You guys!!!! This dress is a dream!! I’ve had my eye on it since it was first shown in May!! It totally exceeded my expectations! It has this beautiful textured ivory cotton fabric and the embroidery is amazingly gorgeous! It’s super comfortable too! We wore it for family photos and it is perfection! I tried both the short and long versions and decided to keep the short. I’m 5’6”, wearing XXS and it goes right to my knee. It is a little looser in the bodice. Not tight, but it is fitted. It is seriously my dream dress! I’m obsessed!

I'm a seamstress myself so when I buy something, I need it to have something I'd have trouble replicating. With this, the embroidery detail and the fabrics give it that heirloom quality that is so hard to do as a home seamstress, so this is perfect. I feel like I walked out of a fairytale which is my ultimate life goal. I wish this dress came in more colors - imagine it in soft blue, or a dark orange, or even the main fabric as pink! - because I want to wear it all the time! This was my first Ivycityco purchase and I'm floored. I will be back if they keep adding styles like this!
