I had to size up in this one for the waist but it makes it a little loose in the bust. Might try to get it altered because I love the dress so much I had to keep it. Because there is elastic at the top and a little extra space in the bust for me, I was able to nurse in it not problem!

This is my actual favorite dress ever. I love the print of the dress (Celeste Clark is just amazing). I went with an XS, I tried the size small but felt like it was a little bit of a looser fit and I prefer a tighter fit. The elastic in the sleeves allow for it be breast feeding friendly and the silhouette is very flattering. My go to dress to always feel pretty in!! My measurements are 35D, waist 28, 5’6.

I'm normally a TTS small, but in dresses with smocking or detailed chest outlines, I can size down. I tried the small and it fit well, but there was a lot of gapping in the boob area. I tried the Xsmall and it was perfect! Typically a size 4 (or 2), 26-inch waist, 34B, and I'm 5'10! This dress is stunning!

I have not been able to get this dress out of my mind; so as my last Ivy City purchase this year( for budget/seasonal preference purposes) I decided to buy it. I absolutely love the print and the dress itself is darling. I do think the top looks a bit odd since I am rather flat chested but I do enjoy the elasticity of the neckline. Also, the length of this dress is quite long so I will need to take it in to get tailored (that longer bit I'm the front is what really gets me). Overall, what a darling dress this is - I got the XS and it fits my waist just right without being too tight. #Princessperdiem

- The hem line is unique and super twirly, though it will drag on the floor if you sit on a low chair.

- I got it on sale!! I couldn’t believe that it was one of the dresses that they picked for the sale!
The not even bad enough to return it:
- the bust is slightly too big for me, I’m a 34B and the top gapes a bit.
- a bit too much ruffles on the neck line, I folded the sleeves down to tone it down a bit.
- the sleeves are still a little big even with the elastic.
Wearing the XXS, I’m 5’3, 110lbs, and the longest part of the dress touches my toes. If you’re shorter, you might have to hem it or wear heels.

This dress is so pretty! It give me like Notebook vibes mixed with a cottage fairy tale. It fit great, I ended up needing to get a 3X to zip it up. I normally wear a 2X, but carry most of my weight in my mid section, so zip up dresses that are not stretchy in the waist, I typically get a 3X in. The 3X fit great! It is so dreamy!!

I usually in between small and medium. I ordered a medium but definitely would have fit into a small. The medium is still comfortable just a little loose in the back. This dress is just lovely! I normally like to switch out my dresses a lot, but I want I wear this one all the time! I normally wear a medium in the smocked dresses, but I wear a large in the non-smocked dresses, including this one. It does not have ribbing or breast cups, but the seams almost act like ribbing or cups. The fabric is not stretchy, so I would definitely go off of your measurements to get the correct size in this dress. I am 5’3”, B 39” W 36” H 41”. The large size fits me well, but it is snug. I also tried on the XL size, and that gapped a bit too much for my taste. I hope this is helpful!!

This dress is absolutely beautiful! One of my very favorite Ivy City purchases. This is a close up of the gorgeous print - I love the bows and florals and beautiful little light gold leaf pattern. Please make more with this bodice, maybe with a different skirt :) If you're between sizes, I would say to size down. I'm between an S and M usually and got an S!

I really, really wanted to love this! It looks so cute on the models and I obsessed over it for a month before I grabbed it! I'm usually a medium/large in other brands, and in Ivy City I would take a large based on their size chart. My waist actual measurement is 32", which is what this size waist measure should be, but it was very tight in the waist. The skirt was cut slightly off-grain so the floral stripe pattern hung off to one side at the waist seam at center front, which was super noticeable on (even my husband said "return it, the pattern should match at front). The sleeve smocking also was quite tight. Maybe I just got a dud? Also, note it's ivory, not white as it appears in most edited photos. The fabric is a rayon challis, but with a polyester lining. I would have preferred a natural or natural synthetic lining, personally (like another rayon or a lightweight cotton), for breathability and eco-consciousness, but I did note beforehand the lining was poly, but figured the dress was cute enough to try it anyway!
Exchanging for a store credit and trying a different style. This was my first try of an Ivy City Co dress and I'm hoping next time is the charm!

My favorite Ivy City dress so far!!! This is so flattering and great for larger busts, like mine. I love the more fitted seaming and lower waist so that my bust doesn't take up the entire bodice. The hand painted florals and bows are to die for. The whole vibe is very English countryside. Please make more dresses with this bodice!!

The dress is beautiful but the fit is not my favorite. I started with an XL and it fit great everywhere, except it wouldn’t zip all the way up in the back. So I exchanged it for a XXL, and it zips up great, but is now too large in the bust/sleeves area. Additionally, it is extremely tight around the diaphragm. I am usually a L-XL and just feel this dress is a really awkward fit. I unfortunately will have to re-sell it.
