Absolutely loved wearing this dress. I originally ordered a 3x but it was so big. When I measured myself I should have been a 3x. I decided to exchange it for a 2x and it fit well. Everyone loves my dress and I was getting complements all night long. The only downside it the sequins getting caught all the time. By the end of the night I had so many strings all over. I had to nurse my little guy multiple times while wearing this dress and it was so easy to do. I am glad I decided to buy this dress! It was the perfect and I felt like a movie star.

Really don’t know when I’ll get to wear it, but it’s nice to have as an option.

Beautiful dress. I was worried it could be itchy with the sequins, but I didn’t have any trouble with that. The sequins did seem to come off some, as mentioned in other reviews, but I think that is somewhat to be expected. This is a great simple formal dress and was great for the wedding I attended.

I ordered this dress for a formal wedding I was attending. I had never ordered from Ivy City before so was unsure how the sizing would work for me (I’m typically a size 14/16 and curvy). I ordered this dress in the 1X and could not be happier with the fit and quality of this dress! It fits beautifully and the quality is wonderful! I bought a small but I think I could have sized down to an extra small. It looks good on me but definitely not as good as it did on the model. I am 5'2 and I don't think it works as well for someone that is petite

I have bought three Ivy City dresses and I am so obsessed with all of them! They are flattering and fit perfectly. I wear a small and they have all been true to size. Comfy and stylish! Doesn’t get any better than that!

Fancy! Super comfortable and stretchy! The quality is great. It does have a bit of a sticky zipper when it gets to the waist seam, but it’s not terrible. Happy with my purchase. I’m 5’1” for reference, wearing size small. I usually wear size 10-12 or medium or large in standard sizing.

AHHHH! So glad I got this dress when they restocked! So bummed when I missed it during the holidays. I’ve been dying for a sexy little black dress and this is perfect! I got an xsmall, usually I’m an xsmall if the dress is stretchy or smocked and a small in all other styles so this one fits well, it’s the tiniest bit snug and short but definitely fits better than the small. Love love!

This dress is incredibly flattering. I really didn't think I could pull off this silhouette postpartum but the wrap style is so flattering and the sequins are dazzling. I felt so confident in this dress, more than I thought I would! I wish there were more places I could wear it, it's so gorgeous! Be aware that the sequins do snag, sometimes badly. The dress is definitely still worth it but don't be surprised if you find yourself caught on the dress sometimes.

Love this dress! Wish I had sized down to a medium from my TTS Large, but the large still fits. The sequins catch a little bit, but look gorgeous so it’s a worthy trade off! This dress make me feel so glamorous!

An absolutely dazzling dress! It was the perfect dress for our special Christmas date!! I felt like a celebrity in it!! It’s very stretchy and comfortable! I will say that the sequins on the sleeves can get caught/snag on the other sequins on the other parts of the dress …but it’s not the end of the world!

TTS. I don’t think I realized sequin dresses are so high maintenance. It’s a gorgeous dress but the sequins on the sleeve would catch on the dress. And it came snagged since it was folded up against each other in shipping. Not Ivys fault. Just a sequin thing.

A NEED FOR YOUR CLOSET I bought this is my tts medium and a small, I ended up keeping the medium for comfort but if between sizes you can size down! This is a gorgeous dress. I was worried about it feeling itchy but it doesn’t at all!

Love this, but… This dress is absolutely beautiful! The sequins are stunning. But when I wore it out I realized a few things—number one is that the skirt doesn’t stay closed on me and tends to flop open. I need to get it altered to address that. Second, the sequins tend to snag a lot. Not ideal. I am usually a size medium in Ivy City, but wish that I had bought a large to have the hip area fit better. If you’re curvy I’d suggest going a size up.

Beautiful dress This is a beautiful dress. The front chest is a little big on me but it's because I am very petite at 4ft 10 in. 93 pounds. Bust is 31 inches and waistline is 26in. I thought it would be very long on the back but it actually is perfect with high heels. Front bottom is very forgiving on my figure especially after having 4 kids. I'm giving it a 4 stars because the stitching of the sequin keeps getting tingled easily and coming off as well. Other than that it is a gorgeous dress!

Just beautiful! This dress is perfectly glamorous and is so flattering. I love the sequins and it stands out. I do wish that the liner was a bit longer and that the skirt portioned had a hidden button so that it didn’t fall open. But those are alterations I can make on my own. Love this one! Different look on curvy frame 5'9" and I ordered my usual size small. While it fit, it did not look as pictured. The quality was fine and it was beautiful, but due to my hourglass figure, it did not have the same conservative look that it does on all of the models. It really hugged my form and exposed a lot of my legs. I don't know that I'd feel comfortable wearing it to most occasions.

Gorgeous dress but be careful with sequins WARNING: HAND WASH ONLY. RUNS SMALL. Sequins will fall off when you take it out of the bag/box upon arrival. Sequins will also stick to each other - like if you rest your arm on your side - the sequins will stick to each other and you have to sometimes yank them apart. This causes some issues with the dress which I am sure will get worse over time. I worse this to a gala and got tons of compliments, but can't tell you how many times I had to yank my arm to separate my sleeve sequins from another part of the dress. I hope the dress isn't getting permanently damaged from all of this. This dress probably only has a few wears left because of this. This dress is low cut and is pretty fitted without being uncomfortable.

Too big I wish I loved this dress. I'm obsessed with the material and the fabric and the cut and style of the dress!! But it just didn't fit my body shape well? It was awkwardly big in the shoulders but the rest of the dress was beautiful!! I wish I would've sized down!

Starstruck!! Every person I've seen wearing Starstruck, no matter their body type has made this dress look good. I think it's a flattering fit for everyone. I was in between sizes (29" waist) so I sized up to a medium and it's very comfortable, but doesn't look like it's too big. Still hugs in all the right places so I think it's pretty true to size.

This dress is gorgeous! I love how flattering the v neckline is. And the material is not itchy at all. My only complaint is that the skirt tends to be open, so I’m adding a hidden button to keep in place. Other than that, I love this dress and feel so great. It’s the perfect cocktail/party dress.

Really pretty I got this for Christmas and for our family photos. Tried it on and it looks really pretty. On the fence for keeping it though because the sequences are snagging onto things as I walked around the house and I found some on the floor after trying it on. Worried it won’t last last after this season. I’m a true size 4/26 and got the small. Plenty of room and stretch so depending on what fit you like sizing down is an option. I’m smaller chested so the bust area isn’t tight either.

I LOVED this dress- so beautiful, so sparkly. However, I ended up returning it because while it was nursing friendly, I didn’t feel like it was actually very baby friendly. I could tell my baby would be uncomfortable if I held her while I was wearing it, and it seemed like it wouldn’t take much to damage the dress.

Really bummed I was so excited about this dress, but it doesn’t fit me right. The front piece doesn’t stay in the front and you can see the under slip just stranding straight because it won’t stay covered. The sleeves are too short for my arms. The back isn’t super tight and I ordered an XXS. And there’s many lose threads throughout the dress. I’m going to have to return it. I think if you’re shorter this would be better.
