The print on this dress is gorgeous, and I love the feel of the material! I'm wearing a small, and it fits just fine, but I may size up to a medium for extra comfort. My measurements are 36-26-37. This is just casual enough for everyday wear, but also fancy enough for a fun or special night out! Love this one!

I LOVE this dress! This was my first Ivy City dress, and it hooked me from the first second I put it on. I am glad I read reviews beforehand and noted the stretch in the bodice because the 1X fit me well. The material hangs so, SO well and feels like something that should be far more expensive. It's very comfortable and twirly, and I love the swishy sound it makes when I move.

LOVE THIS DRESS! I hardly ever buy dresses because I just don't like how most look on me because I'm quite busty. I don't think I've bought a dress in at least 3 years. I ordered a 3X because I didn't want the star print to pull, but I definitely could have gotten away with a 2X no problem which is probably closer to my normal size. I love the print and ordered a similar dress already. I'm only 5 feet tall and this hits just under the knee for me which is going to be perfect for the summer wedding I'm attending soon. The material is lightweight and feels breathable. The other reason I'm glad I sized up was because the elastic on top of the shoulders that creates the ruffle effect stays in place. I was a little worried about my bra straps showing but they do not. This is a perfect dress and I can't wait to wear it often!

Item exactly as described, with great quality materials and craftsmanship. It does seem to run a bit big, I am usually a small or medium; I'm petite at 5'1" but curvy. I probably could have gone down to an XS with no problem. The small fits fine however!

This dress is absolutely beautiful. It is well made, and the fabric is very nice. The blue and gold is nicely sparkled throughout the whole dress. The only complaint I would have is that the top is big because it's stretchy so it may or may not be big on you. For reference, I am 5'1, weigh 208 lbs and have a 46 inch bust measurement. Other than that the length of the dress is great and it is so ridiculously comfortable.

I have been wanting this dress for a very long time and I was finally able to order it in my size. It feels great. So beautiful!!!! I usually wear a size large but could have honestly went down to a medium.

As others noted, I sized down a bit because of the smocked bust (my bust usually calls for an XL). I think this is going to be my grad school graduation dress. It feels so festive but also like I could wear it for ages without it ever being uncomfortable.

The dress is absolutely beautiful I wear an extra large and bought an extra large and it fits perfectly, it has a lot of stretch to it it is absolutely beautiful in a thick material.

I typically wear a L/XL but bought a M feeling safe based off of the amount of stretch the bust has in this dress and that I have the Madeleine dress in a L that fits long on my 5'4" self with LOTS of give in the smocking. It is not uncomfortable just a wee bit snug in the armband and of course not as much leeway to stretch the bust, but not tight at all. I got this as an early Mother's Day present and it is just lovely. I got lots of compliments and I felt very pretty in with my postpartum body. It's rare you find a dress that is just as nice to wear pregnant, not pregnant and nursing or not nursing! This dress does it all!

I got this as an early Mother's Day gift so I could wear it on the day and I am in LOVE! I have 6 kids with the youngest one being 1 month old at the time of this photo (and not happy about it ) and I felt very pretty in this dress. It is flattering on my postpartum figure and is NURSING friendly! My typically size would be L/XL and I have purchased L in all my Ivy City Co smocked dresses thus far with still lots of stretch in the bust. I decided to get a M in this dress since I am 5'4" and the L was a little longer than I expected to see how much it does stretch and it fits just a wee bit on the snug. Not bad enough for me to exchange for a size up :)

I love how much the stars on this dress pop. The colors together is magnificent! The fit is so perfect and comfortable. I wear this as a casual dress and I like to dress it up with some gold heels. Absolutely beautiful.

This dress is a literal DREAM! I love it so much!! If you're between sizes or unsure, though, I would suggest sizing down. I've got extra room in my chest region, which is usually my sizing issue and is usually to tight, but this time a medium was just a bit more roomy than I would have liked. The sleeve elastic is also really loose, but it's not a deal breaker. Overall, if you like the print, I highly recommend it! Its super cute, really comfortable and soft, and 100% worth it!!

I typically wear a size small in other clothing and my measurements are 26” waist, 39” hips, and 34” bust for reference.

I wore this in NOLA. It did not disappoint with the stars and the city having a magical feeling to it. I usually wear a large but with the smocked bodice a medium fit me just great. I love the pleating by the neck/shoulder area!

I am absolutely in awe of this dress. I want to live in it. First, the material is wonderful; you can tell the dress is very well made. More importantly, it fits well and makes you feel like a princess. I went back and forth between the XS, S, or M—after reading every single review, I ended up with the small and it’s perfect. I’m typically a 4/6 in dresses, 5’4” and 34D. The only place where it was a little snug was my bust, but I chose to wear a simple bralette and that made it fit comfortably. I would buy this dress in every color or pattern, and recommend it to everyone!

I loved the original starry nights dress so much that I had to try it in the sand color too. I bought the sand color in a Small size. My usual size is a S/M in Ivy City dresses. I liked that the small had a longer bodice, but the fabric tends to roll. I think I prefer sizing down for a more fitted bodice.

Forgive the slightly terrible photo haha- but I wore this dress to my baby shower last week and I felt like a princess! When they say it works for maternity, they really mean it! It’s one of the few things left in my wardrobe I can wear while 32 weeks pregnant- and I love that I can and will wear it after too!

This dress is stunning and just what my daughter wanted for both of us on her "space" themed birthday party. It is a very beautiful shade of blue with printed golden stars, it's light and it has lots of stretch on the smocked bodice. After reading some reviews I decided to size down and it fit me great. My daughter is also in love with her dress and we're looking forward to many more occasions to wear it. Definitely coming back to Ivy City and their amazing dresses!

Not quite as generous as the Madeline (skirt is slimmer). I did not love the colors/fabric on me; it felt a bit costume-y. I LOVE the white version (Midsummer Night), which is a bit more subtle, but was not a huge fan of this.

I’ve wanted to buy this one for a while and I finally did! I’ve loved this dress. The fabric is soft and lightweight and the stars all look great. I have a 40 bust and about 33 waist and I purchased the medium. It fits great! The only thing I noticed is that the armpit area is a bit more snug than my other smocked dresses from Ivy City.
