The sleeves are the perfect length for me. The elastic closure at the bottom of the sleeves hits right at the bend of my elbow. There is so much skirt material which makes it seem so full and of the best quality!

I love this dress! I think it is my most versatile Ivy dress. The lavender shade is darling and the print is very feminine. It fits really well in the shoulders and neckline which I will always appreciate. I also love the material. Its light and breathable. I shared a picture of when I wore a sweater over it to show one way you can style it. It has become a favorite of mine!

I'm obsessed!!! I got this dress for my trip to Disneyland (and also because I just love wearing beautiful dresses like this) and it was absolutely perfect. I went by the size chart to get the right size and it fits just right. The material is nice, soft, and breathable, the dress doesn't itch whatsoever, and it washes well (I wash on a gentle cycle and put it on a clip hanger to air dry). The TWIRLS in this dress are just dreamy; I was complemented several times throughout my day at Disney and was quite literally told "you look like a princess". Good, because I felt like one I did hem the bottom of the skirt a few inches since I like slightly shorter dresses when I'm at Disney, but I loved it just as much at it's full length before I hemmed it. Needless to say, I'll definitely be buying more dresses (and for sure all the colors in this one) when my finances allow it! Get the dress! Live your cottagecore and princess dreams!!!

You could size down one or two sizes because the Madeline silhouette is very forgiving. I LOVE it. I was hesitant at first but the color is so perfect in person. It's light but also dark enough and not like bright or weird or overwhelming. It's the perfect spring shade! I love it forever and always!

I literally almost have all the madelines I just need the navy one! I actuall like it without the strings on the back and I feel like its much more tighter so it doesnt pull down so beautiful and flowy just perfection!

Where do I even start!! This dress is an absolute dream! I am wearing a size small. I’m about 5’2” and 125ish pounds, 34B bust and it fits so well. I could have sized down because of the smocking, but I prefer the small. From the moment I put it on I felt amazing. I don’t think I’ve owned a dress, aside from my wedding dress, that makes me feel so beautiful, girly, and feminine. It’s a gorgeous color. I can’t wait to wear this out! If only I snagged the mini for my daughter before they sold out. If you’re on the fence, just go for it, you won’t regret it <3

I bought both the lavender and pink Madeline’s and I am obsessed! Wore the pink to the Houston Ballet and received so many compliments and “where did you get that dress?!” This dress is a dream!

This dress is so lovely. In artifical light I find it looks a little grayer where as in natural light the purple really shines through. It is so comfortable and flowy. I ordered my TTS and it fit comfortably but I easily could have sized down with the stretch.

The Madeline is perfection in any color but this purple is so fun and spring-like! It is a very flattering silhouette and super comfortable fabric. Recommend!

LOVE the madeline! I was nervous about it being more grey than purple, but having seen it in person now, I can confirm it’s definitely purple! I sized down and am happy with the fit, and could have also gone with my normal size and been happy with that too.

I would size down, even though according to the size chart the next size down wouldn’t fit me. The sleeves are a bit long for petite people. I would love a shorter sleeve option. Otherwise it’s a beautiful dress and the fabric is quality is amazing!

What's not to love?! I took my usual Madeline size of medium (XL in mon stretch), and it's perfect! I do miss the neck ties on the back, though.

I already owned the Madeline in pink as well as Midsummer and Starry Nights with the same silhouette, so I had to get the purple one as well! It's just as amazing as the other similar dresses. As with all of them, you can size down because of the stretchy smocking, although I prefer to just stick to my regular size (I'm a true size small/4-6). I do like that they eliminated the back tie for this one, as I always end up tying my hair in it. :)

Everyone needs the Madeline! I’ve gotten it in all colors! This dress has a lot of stretch. I sized down to a M and it fits perfect. You can still stay tts if you want a little more room. Love the color purple. It’s a super light purple.

Soft fabric ! I really love the color pattern on this dress to. Smocking allows me extra room to move and breath. This is one of my favorite ivy dresses!

My first Madeline dress! I feel like every Ivy lover has one of these in their closet. I personally love purple so I couldn't resist! I love that this one is very lightweight and casual. It can transition easily from spring to summer. I do think pockets would be a great addition to this style dress!

I ordered my tts and it was a little baggy in the bust. The lavender/purple has a gray tone to it in person. It’s not as bright as the website pictures, but it’s still pretty.

Wanted to love it… By far my ICC favorite silhouette is the Madeline! When they showed the sneaks I know I had to have it. Well it arrived…same beautiful silhouette but the color is just off. I was really hoping it was like the pictures but it just looks gray to me. Ive tried taking picture in different lighting and the gray tones come out a lot. So bummed.
