The Holly Plaid mini is so beautiful! My mini me is wearing a size 8 for reference. She is usually a 6-7 in ICC dresses, but I sizes up one size so she can wear it longer and I am glad I did. It is a thicker fabric and a tighter fit. I would recommend sizing up one size so you little ones have room to move around and it isn’t so snug on them. With the fabric being thicker it does make the dress warmer to wear, so it is not a summer dress. Perfect for the cooler months. It is definitely a must have and perfect for Christmas time. I love this dress. It does taper in a bit so if your little one needs more space then go with the 2 peice baby set.

The Holly Plaid is an absolutely beautiful dress! I am so glad I sized up in it for my oldest so she can wear it again next year. So adorable! Pros: The material is thick, the plaid is beautiful, and the puff sleeves are perfection! Cons: when she sat down you could see her diaper and if I sized up the top would be too big. Also, it was a bit of a struggle to get her in the dress but that's the nature of pencil dresses. Full disclosure I sent the dress back and went with a different Ivy City dress (Arabella).

The mini Holly is adorable! Pros: The material is thick and beautiful and the puff sleeves are perfection! Con was when she sat down you could see her diaper. Super cute! But not a great cut for kids.
What an adorable dress. However, this pencil cut just wasn't practical for my daughter (7). As adorable as it looks in the photos, and if she doesn't move, I would have loved to see an A-line skirt on sizes smaller than, say, 10 years.

Beautiful fabric
This dress is made of beautiful thick fabric that will for sure keep your little one warm. My girl is 3.5 years old and the 3t was too small. In search for the 4/5 as I really love it. My mini is tall and average/slim built. The lenght was not the problem, the hips were.
