Bought this for our family photos, but now love it so much I think all days of the week should be " Sparkly Red Dress" days! I seriously don't want to wait for another speical occasion to wear this again, might just wear it, while watching the hallmark channel on the couch LOL. Such great quality and true to size. Ive gone throough some health issues again and I got fluffy ( gained 30 pounds), but this dress made me feel like the skinny version of myself. Very flattering fit!

Loved loved loved this dress and the mini for Mother Daughter Photos and Santa photos! I like my dresses to be a bit tighter than the small was on me so I wish I would’ve sized down to the XS. I’m 5’8 and wear a size 4 (or 26/7 in jeans) usually! Also be careful, sometimes the sequins from the sleeve get caught on the sequins from the rest of the dress when you’re walking around

This dress is so stunning! The sequins are soft, I didn’t think it was itchy at all, but watch out for snagging. I do think it runs a little large, it has a lot of stretch. I’m between a medium and a small and got the medium and I could’ve definitely gotten a small and it still would’ve had room! But even being a bit too big it was so flattering and pretty! Love the sleeves!

This dress is very comfortable and has a nice stretch to it. If you are in between sizes and wanted a more snug fit you could size down. I went with my usual size and love the comfort. There’s room to move around comfortable and it’s very pretty in person! Excited to wear this during the holiday season!

I’d say this dress runs larger. It’s is also stretchy and going down a size would be best for a tighter fit. Or you’d like the fit a little looser then go for you usual size. It’s very comfortable and it looks just like the photos. Some sequins tend to snag on the sleeves so I’d carefully untangle them. I had no sequins fall off so far.

Cute idea but cheaply made and way overpriced. This dress looked pretty cute but it flares out awkwardly at the bottom in a way that a well made dress wouldn’t do. It also has VERY broad shoulders and I say this as someone who is built similarly to the average offensive lineman, so my shoulders are quite broad. All in all this dress seems like a super cute idea but missed the mark and for the price, I’d expect it to be pretty near perfect.

Wasn’t a fit for my body type
Unfortunately this dress wasn’t a good fit for me. It looks incredible in the models and people with bigger hips.
On me, it clung to my stomach and was too wide on the hips. It didn’t look ideal.

I have lots of Ivy City Co dresses and this one didn’t work for me. I have the pink sequin dress from last year and this one fit very differently in my opinion. It was a few inches shorter and cut my leg off in an unflattering way. I would have liked the dress so much more if it was the same length on me as it is on Tash in the product photos.

Solid Sequin Dress
Ivy City does sequins right: this cut is exactly like the Starlet dress from previous collections (of which I have two) so purchasing this was a no-brainer for me; the fabric is stretchy and comfortable, the lining is soft, the sequins are individually sewn on by row so they're not coming off anytime soon. Usually go with a Med in Ivy City, and the Med fit TTS. Only issue with this one, for me, is that the cuffs of the sleeves were itchy, and the sleeves themselves tend to catch on the actual dress, making snagging the dress (as the fabric under the sequins is actually quite delicate) something you have to worry about. Other than that, a winner.

Basically, this dress is just like the silver & pink Starlet bodycons from earlier (both of which I have) so I knew this one would fit perfectly; I was right. Ivy city does sequins right; the sequins are sewn on individually by row, so they are sturdy and stay on. My only complaint with this one is that the sleeves catch on the rest of the dress and makes it snag. So, it's delicate. Usually a M in Ivy City, and this fit TTS; could really have gone with a small if I felt like, there's so much stretch--but I like the comfort of a medium!
