This is one of the more simple dresses I have from Ivy City, but that certainty does not make it boring. It is a classic. Understated, elegant, and beautiful. I love the comfortable fit and the rich velvet.

I LOVED this dress- the fabric was such good quality and the drape was perfect, giving it a classic, beautiful silhouette with a demure air about it.
It did leave blue-ish dye on the white undershirt/underwear I had on underneath which didn’t bother me in the slightest but is something to keep in mind if you do.

This dress fits SO well. I have never been more comfortable in a dress :) The fabric is also very smooth, not cheap or scratchy. I'll be using it when I perform in choir concerts. Absolutely recommend.

I snagged this dress and her matching mini during the sale and I'm so glad I did. It's a super easy throw on dress. Has lots of give and movement but hugs in all the right places. Stunning crushed velvet. My daughter is a big fan of black and this is a favorite for sure!

I own this in every color. It's very comfortable and I wear it with stacked with a TON of my "over the top" Loren Hope costume jewelry because the simplicity of the velvet allows for a variety of combinations. It's stretchy so could size down depending on how full you need the skirt.

This dress I ordered XS as per the other reviews! I am a SMALL for most Ivy dresses. It is a little bit snug on the waist area but still fit me well. I am 5 ft tall and 132 lb for reference. I would order a SMALL for the black color.

I love the simplicity of this dress! It can be easily dressed up or down, based on how you accessorize it. It is very stretchy, so I was able to go with an XS (I am in between sizes, so I usually go with XS for smocked/stretchy Ivy City dresses and S for zipper dresses).

Love this dress! I would recommend one size down, it runs large! That's the only reason I don't give 5 stars, other than that it is perfect! You can easily dress up or down for any event. If you're looking for the perfect LBD this is it!

This dress is so flattering. I’m in the shorter side (5ft) and I ordered a small and the length is perfect. I wish it came in more colours! One of my favourite Ivy dresses ever!

Pretty cute but shipping took forever. Like over a week to even ship out. I might have exchanged this for something else but it probably wouldn’t have arrived in time for the event I bought it for. I did end up wearing it and was pretty happy with it. Have to say, I got it on sale and wouldn’t have wanted to pay full price as the seams do look a little cheap. It is a nice simple design, looked good with accessories.

I would live this silhouette in other fabrics, it is a perfect staple dress for many occasions and I’m a different fabric oils easily be dressed up or down.

I really like this dress! I got it to use as a performance dress (I'm a musician). I'd say it does run big and is worth sizing down. I was too nervous to do that since this was my first Ivy & Co dress but I could have gotten a size S for my, 38" 29" 40" frame. The M still looks nice though, it has a simple elegance.

I went back in and tried this in the black and also wondering if I could size down. I think if your between sizes you could size down! So soft and stretchy. So cute to match your little too.
