I LOVE this dress! I also have it in the Dark Blue in a Medium, and the small fits so much nicer than the medium for me, so I would say it runs a bit large. Also, there is a ton of stretch and room in the bust area for the lovely bigger busted gals, so don't feel like you need to base the size you buy entirely on your bust. I always get a million compliments in both the Maroon color and the Dark Blue color; they are both gorgeous and wonderful dresses, and I honestly need one in every color now. Highly recommend!

I love this dress and "think" I will keep it. I ordered it for my daughter's fall baby shower. It is beautiful and very well made, and fully lined. The burgundy color is beautiful. I will style it with tall dressy burgundy booties with a gold accent, but gold strappy shoes would be beautiful as well. I read many reviews regarding size and went with the Medium. So many reviews said to go "smaller," but I am actually a small person -- usually wear 4's to 6's, and am trim, and the Medium smocking is actually a perfect fit -- yet maybe even a little too tight. Nothing is hidden along your waist line. In other words, if you're not having a "flat tummy" day, or are uncomfortable about your appearance from the back, it will be noticeable front to back. While a large would be too big, the smocking is a bit confining, I must admit. That said, the neckline is perfect -- not too showy or deep. Overall, I am a stickler for quality and attention to detail and this dress has it. This is my first order from Ivy City, and I am sure I will order again, but make sure not to order anything less than a medium.
