This dress is so FUN!!

The Cloud 9 is a dream! I absolutely love everything about this dress; the color, length, style, and details. It is perfection! I would definitely stay with your TTS in this and do NOT size down because the smocking is very tight. For reference I am 5’4”, 135lbs, and a 34D. This is definitely a must have in your closet.

This dress is true to size. I’m 7 months pregnant and I’m a 38DD. I ordered the large and it was perfect. The sleeves feel great and the chest area does stretch some. So glad I purchased this and have it to cherish in my maternity pictures.

I like ALL my Ivy dresses, it's hard to pick a favorite but if I really have to, this would be the winner. This dress is a dream, comfy, elegant, feminine, unique, definitely a traffic stopper.

For a smocked style it ran small, usually I size down in smocked but I needed to keep my true XL in this style. So cute though!!

Beautiful dress, but I ended up returning it because it was too large. I followed the size chart and it ended up being too large for me. I would have exchanged it, but I was in a hurry for an event dress.

I bought a 2 XL from the sizing guide and it fit perfect! I am normally an XL but sized up as instructed. This dress makes you feel yourself! It’s so beautiful & I feel confident in my curves.

The cloud nine is everything I dreamed of and more! It’s so detailed and elegant! It is a bit snug for a smocked dress so you could stick tts for a tight fit or size up for a looser fit. You NEED this dress!

This dress is beautiful! I feel like I’m finally figuring out my sizing- I’ve had to return a few dresses because I thought my true size was a medium, but it seems to be more of a small. I purchased a small in this because I read the smocking was tighter than other dresses, and I’m glad I did. I think I would be uncomfortable in an XS. The dress has beautiful detailing including the ruffles and the lined flutter sleeves. I also really like the square neckline! The only thing I would maybe change is having the waistline hit slightly lower to accentuate my actual waist, but I am slightly taller than usual. I also wish every dress could be made in a natural fabric like cotton or linen! But I realize that’s probably not possible :) I love it and can’t wait to wear it! So feminine!

Beautiful dress however it was super small. I hardly can get it through my and and head and I'm usually a size xxs when I order a xsmall.

Obsessed! I took this dress on a trip to Paris recently and it was perfect. The smocking was tighter than some of the other Ivy dresses, so I probably wouldn't size down if you have a bigger chest. I found that sticking with my true to size medium was the way to go!

It really is such a beautiful dress! I just wonder how they go about creating their extended sizes, because with the way this dress and a few others fit, they just extend the straight sizes rather than actually doing a plus size fit. The smocking is a lot tighter in this dress than a lot of others, so def order your true size or size up. I sized up, and while it fits, it’s is very tight in the shoulders and chest. It fits more like an empire waist (ugh) and doesn’t have as much “flow” as a lot of their other dresses. The quality of the fabric is superb and the colors are just so beautiful. I just wish they would put a little more effort into their extended sizes so it would fit us and hit in the same places as the standard sizes.

I am in LOVE with this dress. It runs a little big on my shoulders but everywhere else it is fine. I might just have to have them, tailored a bit. I expected this dress to be amazing but on, it’s even better. I can’t believe i didn’t get a picture on, the day i wore it. It will be one i wear a lot so when i do , i will share a pic. I got a 3X and i also need to figure out my exact measurements. All i can say if you can grab it, do! I love the lined sleeves as i know it’s been a debate but it makes them more flowy. It is also such a pretty color

I originally ordered this in the first release in a L. I always size down in their smocked dresses. But this dress runs TTS I had to wait for the rerelease & order it in the correct size. It’s my Mothers Day dress for this year❤️❤️

So I think this dress is beautiful, but I’d offer a warning for my “more busty” ladies! I found this type of smocking particularly less forgiving than other styles. My chest either looked smushed in the medium or the sleeves were lightly too big in the large. Love the look and feel, but fit is tougher for those with curves.

Definitely buy a size up! The stretch isn’t that stretchy and the arms are tight where they are fluttered. I feel this dress overwhelmed me and made my torso look even shorter. It is BEAUTIFUL but the tulle isn’t as soft as their other tulle dresses and it just doesn’t seem a right fit for me. Just wanted to post some sizing help for someone else in need as I was!

Overall, the dress is beautiful! As everyone has said, definitely tighter smocking and much tighter fit in the bodice. Recommend staying true to size and if in between, size up.

Yay!!! Glad I was able to get this when it was restocked. It’s such a fun princess type dress. I’m usually a small in regular styles and xsmall in smocked but I for sure needed to stick to a small. I wish the waist area and torso would’ve been a little more defined, maybe if the torso was just a tad bit longer that would’ve helped defined my shape more, but that’s my only complaint! Otherwise such a stunning dress with so much detail!

I loved the cloud nine, was a tiny bit snug on me putting on around the bust area, but I am 36DDD so that is often what happens in dresses that are true to size. Usually I'm a medium in non-stretch, occasionally I size up to large to accommodate my bust. This is such a gorgeous dress with awesome texture.

I stuck to my normal size in this dress cause I can tell the smocking doesn’t stretch as much as their other dresses, I looooove this! It’s so flirty and beautiful, I wore this dress to an engagement party! My only complaint is how short the smocking is, for bigger busted ladies like myself it just doesn’t look the best, I wish their was more fabric , it sits awkward on my waist

I may be late to the party but I will be dressed to the 9 in the Cloud Nine dress. This dress is perfect in every way from the soft lavender color to the lined sleeves, the smocked bodice to hold everything in and definitely has the twirl factor when you’re on the dance floor. This dress isn’t too long for us short ladies as the sheer overlong hits right at the ankles and the liner underneath falls right at the mid calf. This dress is running true to size and fits me perfectly. For reference I’m wearing my tts XXL in Ivy City dress. I’m 5’00 wear a size 16 in clothes and measure a 38DDD in the bust. I do recommend sizing up if you have a larger bust as the smocking doesn’t have much stretch hence it holds you in perfectly. This dress gets a 9 out 9 for me.

I first ordered my size down since it’s smocked, and it was way too tight. I went with my size up and it fits really comfortable. I wish the sleeves came unlined because I feel like they stick out too much.

I was scared buying a dress for $200 from a brand that you don’t typically see at a store. My favorite place to buy dresses is Ted Baker. However I saw this one and couldn’t take my eyes off of it. The dress is definitely worth the money! It’s perfect for church, the perfect length, it has sleeves and the chest area has good coverage. I love this dress!

Smocking is tighter than normal. I am wearing a S, but could have sized up to a M. Tulle is not as soft as Anastasia/sugarplum, but it’s pretty.

I ordered a small and medium (I run between sizes) and the medium fit so much better!! I feel like I can breathe in this one. For reference I am 5’3 145lbs 36C. The details on this dress are so pretty and intricate. The only thing I didn’t like is that the sleeves are slightly big so it swallows up my shoulders a bit.

Normally am between a small/medium and I can usually size down in smocked sizes. However this smocking is MUCH tighter! So if you are in between sizes or have a larger rib cage I would size up!

Beautiful dress! The ruffle details on the skirt and sleeves are especially sweet, and the fabric feels high quality. I decided to return the dress because the bodice was too short for my liking and it hit me higher than my natural waist, which I didn't like because I am already short waisted. And since I didn't love absolutely everything about the dress, I couldn't justify keeping it because it is a little too fancy for daily wear. Also, one thing to note is that the smocking is stiffer than most of the other smocked dresses, so I would definitely not size down.

Love this dress! Definitely makes me feel like I should be in Bridgerton! The lining is so soft and the tulle seems really high quality. I got my TTS and it fits, however, if you have a bigger bust you might want to size up, because the bodice is a little tighter than other Ivy dresses.

I love this dress so much, but unfortunately returned it. I loved the color, the sleeves, the skirt. The pattern and flow in the skirt is so amazing! I ended up returning it because the smocking was pretty tight and I felt like it made my boobs look flat lol and as lovely as the color was, it washed me out. Would love to see in different colors and a more forgiving smocking in the future!

This was the dress I was most excited about from the lovers collection this year. I sized down to my Valencia size (medium from large), but should have stayed TTS. I dont love the color as much as I thought I would in person (with the lighting and filters it is hard to see the true color—it is a dusty mauve). I really do feel like Hermione at the Yule ball when I have it on though! I am hoping ivy makes this dress in lots of colors!

This dress is so pretty! I'm a true L in most dresses but I sized up so that it wouldn't be tight in the bodice. I think it's so pretty and feminine. It's definitely the first super girly dress I own which is fun for me. It covers g's well too. ;)

This dress is so lovely and unique! I love the lined sleeves, color, and design. I will say that the smocking is tighter on this dress. I have the Valencia and I felt that the Cloud Nine dress was even tighter smocking than my Valencia. I would not size down in this one.

I normally size down in smocked dresses, but that was a mistake. The bust is very tight on me, the smock doesn’t have much stretch. It fits, but I don’t like how short the smocking is. It makes it look like I have a short torso.

Loved it!! I wasn’t gonna get this one, until I saw that the sleeve was gonna be lined and I needed it. The color is more like a mauve-lavender color. So gorgeous and flattering. Fits very true to size, the neckline has no stretch at all and the smocked detail is very stiff. Stay true to size.

Gorgeousness!!!!! I love this dress so much!! At first I wasn’t sure about the bodice because I felt like it was a little too short. But I’ve since realized it’s perfect!! I got size XS because the smocking is the tighter bound smocking and I was afraid my true size, XXS, would be too tight. It’s actually a little loose on me. So I think I could wear either size and love it. The sleeves are my favorite part. I’m so happy they are lined. Love love love!!! For reference I am 5’5”, 32 bust, 24 waist, 35 hips.

I got my tts and it was very fitted. It is a tight smocking, definitely don’t size down. Such a beautiful color and high end material! I personally like a longer bodice.
