Oh my! Wow! I did not expect to love the Sweet Caroline as much as I do. It’s comfortable, flattering, and the perfect weight for a humid East Coast summer. I bought the 2X and the smocking isn’t too tight, so I’d advise sizing down for a more fitted look. Ladies, this dress is a cannot miss, and I’d love to see this style in more prints/patterns.

A great transition dress from spring, summer, and even into early fall due to the colors of the florals. If you size down, it’s tighter around the arm area so be aware of that. Light material, flowy, and a dress you can wear casually or dress up!

Love the sweet Caroline print - it’s more of a fancy fabric as opposed to the Indie dress fabric. The sweet Caroline ran smaller in the arms/armpit than the indie. I usually get a small in this cut but needed a medium for the sweet Caroline.

I LOVE this dress. It was perfect for my pregnancy and will be perfect to nurse in as well. It is comfortable and so flowy and not see through at all, which is always a worry for me with white dresses. My only gripe is that the sleeves would fall a bit but I think it is because of my pregnancy belly. Hopefully it fits a bit better after baby is born.

The sweet Caroline print doesn’t have a liner which I love. The fabric is such a nice weight it hangs perfectly. Not see through at all! If you don’t own this silhouette, you need one.

I am absolutely in love with this dress. Wear it pregnant, postpartum, breastfeeding or just whenever. Being in my childbearing years, I try to find quality clothing that I can wear in all seasons of “me”. It’s flattering for ALL shapes and sizes! The flutter sleeves allow you to wear it in spring, summer or even fall with a long sweater. I also love the color variation on the sweet Caroline. A blue or lighter sweater makes it a great spring outfit paired with sandals. Add brown booties and a heavier red/burgundy sweater and it goes amazing for fall! You seriously cannot go wrong with this. I am 5’2, 20 weeks pregnant and a DDD. I’d say it does run a tad big but it could be because of the amount of stretch it gives. Again, it’s another quality and beautiful item from my new favorite clothing boutique!

Absolutely love these dresses! My sister and I both purchased from Ivy City for a photoshoot we had in Charleston, and they turned out perfect! I wore the Sweet Caroline dress, and my sister wore the Eleanor dress. I found my Sweet Caroline to fit true to size. I read it might run big, but I stuck to my true size and purchased an XXL, and it fit just right! The smocked bodice was super comfy and very flattering. The fabric was lightweight and breathable- very comfortable! I loved that the length was not too long and not short either. Overall, a lovely dress. I felt super classy and beautiful! I cannot recommend these dresses enough, and I will definitely be purchasing more!

You can see in the picture that the smocking will go lower below your bust if you size up. I don’t mind the look. Fun to match with my girls!

I usually wear medium but I’m glad I got a small since it’s a more conservative style already so I think the small allowed it to be appropriate and still not tight in the stomach area, while not billowing if you like a slimmer fit in general. I ordered this dress for multiple occasions. For, church and any upcoming functions that may arise. I always have a hard time finding a flattering yet modest dress for such events. However, I was able to find both a flattering and modest dress from Ivy City Co.! I am a size large, usually 14, and I am 5'3. The dress fit perfectly for me. It was not too short and not too long, the length was great. It is also stretchy around the waist, so it makes it comfortable to wear. The fabric is soft and cooling, so it's great to wear on a hot day as well. You could also pair it with a nice jacket on a cool day. It is the perfect dress for casual occasions, or you can add a little razzle dazzle in accessories and dress it up for a bit more formal of a function. I definitely recommend the Sweet Caroline dress.
