Love, love, LOVE this dress! It's the best for maternity, postpartum and beyond! I wore my regular size (XL) during my entire pregnancy and after! Still fits like it did before I was pregnant too! Just overall a great dress!

This was my first purchase from Ivy City Co after having seen an ad on Instagram. It has been a wonderful experience all around. I tried on both the medium and the small and ultimately went with the small. There really is a lot of stretch in the bodice and the small, overall, hung on my body better. The medium would have been okay, too, but I did want something a little more form fitting. I'm six feet tall and felt like the proportions of the dress worked well with my body well. I've already ordered two other colors! Will order more with time. This will be my go to summer dress. No more decision fatigue trying to figure out what to wear.

I can't believe how stunning this dress actually is in person. True to size with some stretch in the waist. The pink version of this dress is a really lovely baby pink color in person, I am obsessed!

This dress is a dream! I sized down one to an XS because I wanted to make sure my waist was defined with the A line skirt and the puff sleeves and it’s perfect! I want to wear this every day because it makes me feel so feminine.

Very stretchy and comfortable to wear. The cotton is lightweight but lined so you’re covered. The blue flowers are such a perfect print and the sleeves are perfection. Couldn’t be happier with this dress and can’t wait to get every color!

It's so comfortable and flattering, and I've gotten compliments from complete strangers about how pretty this dress is! As a petite person, this dress is maxi-length on me, which I absolutely don't mind! It's a great addition to my wardrobe and I look forward to wearing it whenever I can :)

Bought it to wear for my baby shower. Got my regular size since it's smocked and stretches, fits perfectly. Goes so well with the bump.

Bought this dress for Easter and absolutely LOVE it! Being a mom I try to only buy dresses that can transition well from regular wear to maternity and breastfeeding friendly. I love that this dress can easily be a maternity dress, but doesn’t make you look pregnant if you aren’t. I feel absolutely beautiful in it and will definitely be ordering more dresses❤️

I LOVE this dress! Ivy city has nailed this silhouette! Last fall I got the the Basil Dress and loved it, so when I needed a blue and white dress for graduation I had to get this one!! I got a size XL in the basil and a L in the Madeline and I like how to Madeline fits better. It is still super comfy just hugs me a little tighter.

Love the Madeline silhouette. I ordered a size down, size Large, where I usually where XLs in zipper dresses. The neckline is a little awkwardly shaped, but with adjustment, it looks amazing. The Madeline in Blue I received does not have back tie straps. It is an essential silhouette!

I love the Madeline dresses! They’re smocked so I always size down in smocked size cause it runs big on me, these dresses were all I wore when I was pregnant , and even wore for my maternity shoot, so comfortable and flattering

I think the dress is pretty true to size. I tried the xxs and it was a perfect fit. Didn’t feel too tight around the torso. I’m 5.1’ and I feel the length was pretty good in me even when the dress is regular and not petite. The fabric is light and perfect for spring and summer, but can easily be transitioned to colder days if you put a jacket or even better throw a sweater on and wear it as a skirt! The matching mini dress is also soooo pretty! P.S. this dress is perfect to twirl on

Wanna know what’s so great about this dress- besides it’s stunning silhouette! How high quality and stretchy it is! I really wasn’t sure it would work for pregnancy or not- but oh man it’s perfect! I feel so pretty in this! You need one- for pregnancy or not! Haha

I’m normally a size small and I got an xs but the top still rolls like it’s too big so I think this one runs big. I would probably try a xxs since I don’t like it so loose. Also disappointed since I really wanted the white background and blue flowers but it’s more of a mint blue with flowers.

I think I am one of the few that stays in their TTS with smocked dresses. I bought the pink Madeline a year ago and stayed TTS because I dislike the smocking to look stretched or too tight. However, after all the reviews I thought I would try a size down and so glad I did! I’m currently 5 weeks PP and still have so much room in the bodice, even with nursing! But I do like how it cinches in a little more in the waist in my size down. Love the Madeline!

We are obsessed with our Pink Madeline, that when they restocked the blue I had to have it! It is that same beautiful breezy material, true stretchy smocked bodice, great flow. My daughter outgrew the 11/12 so I bough her the XS and will fit for years to come. Lovely dress.

I love this fit of this dress, it is beautiful to dress up or down. It runs large because of the smoking, so I sized down from my TTS. It is a closet staple, because it is beautiful normally, but also nursing and bump friendly!

This dress lives up to the hype! The Madeline is the perfect combination of flattering and comfortable. The square neckline and smoked bodice are so flattering and would be perfect for a baby bump. The skirt is full and just so comfortable for all-day wear. I stayed with my normal size medium and it fits TTS. If you wanted a tighter fit on the bodice, then size down.

This dress is even more gorgeous in person! I normally run between a S-M (I am 5'2 and 135-140 for reference) and sized down to a S and it fit well. Could have possibly done an XS since the smocking isn't as tight but I am saving it to wear a maternity dress in the future. Definitely one of my Ivy favorites!

Though I do recommend tan undeez ;) I’m not usually a floral lover but this fabric and color gives me all the happy feels. Plus it’s just so soft and pleasant on my skin. I think the billowy sleeves and smock on this particular dress don’t work for my body type. Had to see what the hype was about though so gave it a try Size down one for the best fit.
