I loved these dresses for my daughter and I! The sleeves were a little tight as well as the chest area, but the length and fit was perfect other than that.

I wore this dress for a Halloween costume (We were the Royal family). It’s super cute and flattering but the sleeves are definitely very tight! I have long, skinny arms and the sleeves are still very restrictive. I got a small. I’m 5’9” and 130lbs. Definitely size up for the sleeves. But the waist and everything else fits fine!

Beautiful Dress! I was super excited to get this dress. I’ve had my eye on this style for years and had always wanted one. However, I read other reviews and saw I should size up. So I did, but the sizing was off for me. The skirt fit well, but the top was too big, along with the arms/arm holes. The neckline detail didn’t lay right so it just looked odd. I really wanted to love this dress but was sad I had to return it. Others have looked great in it, but not sure if it was the plus size. I’m saying it ran small because I had to size up, but ultimately the bigger size didn’t fit right and I couldn’t have sized down due to the waist measurement.

Beautiful but sizing off This dress has the most beautiful silhouette, but the sizing is off. I carefully took body measurements and followed the sizing guide exactly, but the sleeves of the dress are smaller than what the size guide indicates. The sleeves are much too small and the lace has no stretch to bend your arms. If the sleeve issue could be reconstructed with more flexible lace and wider sleeves, this dress would be perfect!

Beautiful- but so tight on the arms I got this dress back in the early days of Ivy City and ended up having to sell it ): it’s gorgeous but the fabric on the arms is so tight and uncomfortable. For some women with smaller arms, this might not be a problem

Terrible customer service I purchased this dress and it was lost in their warehouse. Never shipped. Ivy city says they “aren’t responsible” because I didn’t have insurance. Yet it didn’t even leave the warehouse. :thinking: Seems dishonest on their part and like I got scammed out of $100+. Customer service was rude and they did not even offer a store credit or code for their error. Will not be purchasing from here again.

Believe the hype!! I have had my eye on this dress in previous releases and never pulled the trigger. I wanted a special dress to wear to a holiday party and Christmas Eve mass this year so I finally made the purchase. SO happy I did. The Arabella dress is everything I hoped it would. It is beautiful, great quality and fits me so well. I am pretty much always a size small in dresses of similar style but got this in a medium and it fits perfect! Thank you Ivy City for making gorgeous and affordable dresses!

Beautiful and sturdy My first Ivy dress!!! I saw it on Instagram and loved the color and design. The material and construction are high quality and true to sizing chart. Some lace feels delicate and this has a thicker feel to it. I’m excited to wear it over the holidays and have already ordered more dresses! It’s nice to have elegant, stylish options that are appropriate for a wide range of age groups- in my case 40’s. :wink:

Pretty! I sized up for my waist measurement- I’m right between sizes and was glad I did because there’s no stretch even in the arms. The lace is pretty and I like the tailored skirt, although it seemed on the longer side compared to my other dresses. It’s a little larger in the bust, because there’s nothing to put it in, but I could not size down and be comfortable.

Beautiful dress! The dresses themselves are gorgeous and high quality. However, the sizing is definitely off… which to be fair, they do say to size up if you’re in between sizes. I’m usually a size Medium and I ordered the size large to be safe. So glad I did! The waist and the hips fit fine, but the bust area is still VERY tight, this being on someone who has a smaller chest. Overall, they’re beautiful dresses and super flattering, just maybe double check the sizing to be safe. :)

So this year I was determined to get some sweet pictures taken. I am 5’1 and normally wear an XS/Small in most brands. This dress is elegant and modest with a nice teal color. Im 5'4 137 lb pear shaped got size small and it fits like a glove.. not to tight. Can't wait to wear it.

I read a lot of reviews that the sleeves were too tight, and I had purchased another dress earlier this year for ivy city with tight sleeves, so I sized up to the large. The large helped the sleeves fit better, but then the bodice was huge and quite baggy. I’m very lucky and my mom sews, so she took about 2 1/2 inches on the side seams and now it fits perfect. Not everyone is that lucky to have a mom that is a seamstress! So I wish the sleeve issue was better. It’s a beautiful dress though, and my daughter and I got a million comments on them!

It's nice to have something that feels formal but I can still wear to church regularly. I got a million compliments on this dress...not that I have to have compliments, but it's nice! And everyone remembered the dress from when I wore it last year! So I tried to tell them each to get one in other colors so we could all match! ;)

Totally love the Arabella lace dress in hunter green. I chose this dress for my bridesmaid dress for a wedding that I was apart of. This dress is very comfortable and great quality.
