I love that this Madeline is a little more “casual” because it doesn’t have the top ruffle on the neckline. Very versatile and can be work in summer or fall. I love this navy color.

Polyester dresses are just so much more flattering. But this is a cute dress for a skinny person.

Beautiful like all the other Madelines! But I did notice the navy doesn’t have a liner. I actually prefer it that way, and appreciate the light, airiness of the material.

I love it SO much - I got my normal size small and could’ve easily sized down. I was surprised it wasn’t lined but it’s thick enough fabric that it doesn’t need it. So comfy and flattering - definitely will be a closet staple!

Perfect dress for summer! The color is so rich, and the fit is fabulous. The material is soft and slowly, and feels very high quality. I got this silhouette in all the colors, and it is perfect for my other plus sized ladies; fits true to size for me as a true 3X and 42DD bust!

Really comfortable and beautiful dress. I sized down as smocked dresses usually run large for me. I’m glad I did because the fit is perfect! My only complaint is the square neckline/back is maybe too wide.

We had a mother and daughter tea time event at my daughter's school and the dresses were a hit. I wore a 2x and my daughter a size 7/8. Lots if stretch left. Perfect coverage in regards to the thickness of the dress and it falls so beautifully.

A most beautiful dress! The smocking is very generous so you can size down. It has 2 tiers as opposed to 3 (the usual amounts on Madeline dresses). It's so soft too!

This dress is MAGICAL. I purchased and used for my maternity pictures at 28 weeks pregnant! I bought my normal size. It's completely up to you with fit if you want to size down - you absolutely can! My only worry with sizing down is that the ruching part of the dress will eventually stretch. I also wanted a more dramatic sleeve (not so fitted) so I was afraid sizing down would do that. I am 5'2", normally a size small, and purchased a size small. TTS in my opinion! I've purchased this dress in pink as well, because I just love it so so much. Thank you Ivy City! Amazing quality, and I felt like so pretty!

Beautiful dress! I am usually size xs, but my size was sold out and I decided to try xxs. It’s a bit snug, but still fits well. I really love it! I got one for my mini too so we can match.

I have a few dresses from IVC in L to XL… for the Madeline, specifically, I was able to size an extra size down (to a M)! The print didn’t stretch too much to make it look distorted and it felt SO good on. I’m a 36DDD, for reference, and it looked amazing!

Such a beautiful dress. Amazing quality and so cute to have a matching outfit with my daughter. Runs pretty true to size, maybe slightly large if you take the stretch into account.

This is my second Madeline dress and I absolutely adore this color! I wear a size small in Ivy dresses and sized down to an extra-small in this style. I am 5’5 and my measurements are 34-26-37. I hope this helps!

this is my true to size, medium, and it fits really well! I have the purple madeline in a small and love the fit as well. I think you could go either way, tts or sizing down and be totally happy! the blue is a beautiful deep blue with navy detailing. such a fun, flattering sillhouette. I hope to see more colors in the madeline!!

Size down to XXS and I love the fit so much This is perfect everyday dress! My little girl will get mad because her size is sold out on website.. haha

I wore this to work (I'm a photographer) and it was a little long at times, but I knew that’s was gonna be the case. I LOVE this dress! The sleeves are the best length and are thin enough that this Texas girl was not sweating while wearing it. The smocked top has lots of stretch that I got a L, but for a fitted dress my size is XXL. Love that I can wear this while I am pregnant, nursing and non-pregnant or nursing!

This dress is GORGEOUS! I just ordered another one in another color. It’s comfortable and casual, yet you could wear this to a wedding! I believe it is true to size, but based on the stretchy top, you could size down if you want. The stretch would eventually stretch out though. For shorter women, I am 5’2 and I find this a perfect length, closer to the ankles.

To help with reference... I am a 36 DDD - depending on where I purchase clothes, I can range from a L or XL due to the bust. For this dress, I went with a XL just to be on the safe side and I wish I would have gotten an L! The XL still is flattering but you can get away with sizing down. There is plenty of room in the bust, arms and waist.

Love this but I love all the Madeline’s (well I don’t have the blue). Comfy and pretty. For reference I am 5’5, a 36g bust and usually wear a size 12/14 in most brands currently.
