Like some others have said, there’s a lot of extra fabric in the back and I plan to wear this for my reception so it’ll need to be altered. Just a little too much and it falls off my shoulders. I prefer to keep it up because I feel my shoulders are too broad. But absolutely as dreamy in real life as it is in the pictures. I love it so much.

This dress is so pretty and hugs in all the right places. When I get invited to an event with some kind of fairy theme, I have the perfect dress! I’m in my “zipper size” which is one size up from my “smock size” in Ivy City dresses. I’m 5’2” for reference.

I’m absolutely obsessed with this dress! I felt so good and beautiful in it, like I walked out of a storybook. People kept saying I looked like a fairy, a butterfly or a princess. And I was eating it all up haha! It’s a long dress and me being 5’2 I had to pick it up when I walked or went up steps, so keep that in mind if you’re on the shorter side. The bodice is much like a tube top in the way it sits so I had my mom pinch it to make it a heart shape neckline and we made the sleeves a bit tighter to fit my frame. The quality of this dress is amazing, 10/10. I also wore the 3X for reference and it fit true to size with minor adjustments.

I LOVED this dress. The embroidery is so stunning and I was OBSESSED. Sadly, I felt like it just wasn't a great color on me and really washed me out. Otherwise, it was stunning. It also felt a little big especially in the bust area so I probably would've sized down!

This dress was perfect for my daughters Fairy tea party birthday theme. The print is just gorgeous. I read reveiws and looked at pictures before ordering and decided to go with an XS. Usually I am a small. But since I am small in the chest and read that the boddess runs big I went with the XS and it was perfect! Lots of stretch. We received so many compliments.

Love, love, love this dress. I got so many compliments when I wore this dress. It would be a perfect dress if it didn’t have so much fabric on the upper part of the dress. The bodice, shoulders and even smoking were too much. I couldn’t have gone down a size as the waist would not fit. I just tucked the back smoking into the waist. Other than that, it’s very dreamy!

Got one size smaller than my true to size because it’s really big on the bust area and the sleeves fall off. Love the design but there is too much fabric in the ruching of the bust and makes me look bigger. Also the sleeves have too much fabric, it would look much better if the sleeves are like the Whimsical!

I was so excited for this dress and thought it was stunning but the fit is so awkward! It’s somehow really big and small at the same time. The bodice is really big and has so much fabric , I’m not sure what’s going on there, and than the waist was tight despite it being smocked. The zipper was super tough. I had a hard time unzipping it to try it on, it was even harder zipping it up. With all the extra fabric on the chest area it makes me feel so uncomfortable and not beautiful in it. Which is so unfortunate because I love his fabric and it’s gorgeous , I love the little details of the names of flowers on it and it saying “forget me not” please make another dress in this fabric but a different silhouette

I got this dress in a 2X. I am regularly a 2X (18/20). In Ivy Dresses I can wear a 2X if its stretchy or smocked, but typically have to get a 3X if there is no stretch. This dress was lovely, the bodice was a bit loose, but not noticeable. I loved the length and flow, but ended up returning because I had no idea where to wear it. Overall, it's beautiful and fit my plus size body beautifully.

So this dress is so very lovely. The details are gorgeous and it’s very princessy. My main problem with it though, was the bodice. With all the folds I felt like it made me look larger and my bust wider, which just isn’t for me.

Bought this dress because the fabric is so stunning it makes me want to weep, but sadly I’ll be returning. The sleeves are so large on their dress I feel like it makes me look very odd proportioned on top. I hope Ivy City makes a different dress with this fabric though!

I wanted to love this dress, and i really wanted it when i first saw it, but the rouching/top is too big-fitting and just doesnt work for me. While a very beautiful dress, just feels to heavy for the summer and doesnt have much shape for me. Sadly returning.

This dress is so stunning the fit across the bust is large you can size down , the length of this dress and fit and is very slimming a added bonus ! I’m between a large and XL. This dress I needed the XL even though the back is smocked the seam in the waist isn’t. So if your between sizes go up. The lace on this dress is so beautiful!
