I was so excited to see this dress on sale and had to get it! I wear a size 4 but the waistline was not tight for me, just as I like it. It is a little roomy in the bust area but that could be due to my small chest. The v-neck cut is also pretty low, and I would like it to be just a little higher (for those with garments, it mostly works fine but you may want to wear a demi/cami tee or something underneath if it doesn't work for you) The wrap-waisted style is very flattering for my rectangular-shaped body and the length is perfect.

I missed out on this dress last summer. I was so happy when they brought it back. The print is glorious and I got several compliments when I wore it. I love the ruffle sleeves and the fact that it has pockets. It was lower in the bust than the other Ivy dresses I have bought. Definitively can’t wear it to work without a cami underneath. The dress has some weight to it because it is lined and with all the volume and layers. I was not expecting the fabric to have a kind of waffle texture to it. One design change I would make is to have the horizontal waist seam higher because it’s quite thick and on me it did not fall at the smallest part of my waistline so it actually makes me look a bit wider. Might have it altered if I can do so without sacrificing length. I ordered my usual non-smocked size of 16W and it was slightly big in the chest and waist. May have been able to go down a size.

I love this dress so much !! I held off ordering it the first time around because it was a style I wasn’t sure about. I loved it so much I ordered the blueberry as well. If you are concerned about arm coverage, don’t be. It’s very flattering.
