• The Demand Planner is responsible for following the Replenishment and Planning best practices that support sales, margin, receipt, and inventory plans
• They will drive the pre-season planning, allocation, and replenishment for a group of categories to ensure that the right product is in the right place at the right time to support the merchandising strategy
• Forecast units needed by month, style, and size to hit projected sales. Set targets and achieve plans for inventory required to support the sales, gross margin, inventory turnover and in-stock plans
• Manage inventory ordering, create POs, update master spreadsheets after ordering
• Communicate with manufacturers to negotiate price breaks, terms, and gather cost information
• Run performance reports post launchEnd-to-end management of demand planning and allocation optimization, including in-stock and service levels for all assigned product
• Create and maintain all spreadsheets used for ordering and financial goals
• Maintain appropriate levels of product availability (store front and e-commerce) during promotional periods to maximize sales, create an excellent customer experience, and minimize residual product post promotion
• Coordinate with product development, finance, and operations
• Run ad-hoc reports as needed (edited)
