About the Role

We are on the hunt for a dress-obsessed, full-time Accounting Manager working remotely. Our Accounting Manager will support day-to-day accounting/financial processes and oversee internal control processes. As Ivy continues to grow, the Accounting Manager will keep internal controls and efficient processes at the forefront as new areas of support arise. The Accounting Manager will work closely with our Controller, Inventory Manager, Data Analyst, and external contractor relationships for sales tax and income tax.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee accounts payable, day-to-day financial transactions, and bank account/credit card reconciliations in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Improve accounts payable with vendor POs, invoice approval, and best practices of AP management.
  • Completion of all necessary accruals, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and maintain accounting in accordance with GAAP.
  • Production of monthly financial statements
  • Oversee inventory purchasing including reconciling, reviewing of discrepancies from POs to receipts, and closing of purchase orders.
  • Improve & create new month end close processes to successfully support growth.
  • Additional finance and accounting responsibilities may be given to help support the team as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field
  • 2+ Years of Experience in eCommerce & DTC. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of how all business functions operate within the DTC space.
  • Experience with Shopify, additional sales channels like Retail and Wholesale, and payroll processing highly preferred.
  • Detail oriented, organized, and follows through on tasks.
  • Innovative and constantly looking for ways to improve processes.• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong desire to know “how” and “why” things work.
  • Ability to shift priorities quickly to accommodate a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Excel with in-depth knowledge of xlookup, index-match, and pivot tables.
